The Hanchaedang Hanok Stay Center consists of two hanok buildings with the same traditional structure, including a tiled-roof, maru (wooden floor), and gudeul (Korean floor heating system). The interiors offer a harmonious combination of modernity and the features of a traditional hanok house. Each room has a low table for four people, a central living room with en suite toilet and bidet, a main room (Anbang) with an en suite bathtub, toilet and bidet, another room (Geonneonbang), and a kitchen with a wine bar table. The main room has two sets of bedding for four people, while the other room has one set of bedding for two people. The extra bedding is always placed inside the wardrobe. Guests can cook in the kitchen, but they may only hold a BBQ outside. (There is a charge for the BBQ set.) The house overlooks the school playground below the building and the beach in the distance. The Hanchaedang is also a well-known film location with great interiors and attractive exterior views that have featured in various interview programs and TV dramas.

Doraemi House in Dorae Village, Naju, Jeollanam-do, is a hanok stay with a bonchae (‘main house’), a sarangchae (men’s house) and a byeolchae (‘reception room’). The bonchae has two bedrooms with a hidden attic space. The sarangchae has a living room with bedrooms on either side; while the byeolchae, atop a low hilll, has a single cozy room. A walk along a forest road takes you to a pavilion by a pond. Next to the bonchae is a quiet and tranquil reading room.

Yeongyeongdang in Gwangyang-si, Jeollanam-do, is a sunny hanok stay set in beautiful scenery with Baekun Reservoir in front and Baekun Mountain behind. Each room has a bathroom with bathtub, traditional ondol heating plus boiler, an AC unit and glass doors and windows to keep it cozy. Cooking is done in the common kitchen, with an outdoor barbecue also available. There is no supermarket nearby, so visitors should bring food with them. Yangsodang is the head house of the Andong Kim Clan, which dates back 230 years and is located in Sosan Village in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Being a true hanok built by joining wood without nails, this house is a perfect place to take in the beauty of traditional Korean architecture. There are five guest rooms, including the Anchae Anbang (main room in the main building), a large ondol (underfloor heated) room across from the Anchae (main building), and a large Sarangchae (detached building) that has two rooms with a maru (wide wooden floor area); all of the rooms, except the small room, have either a daecheong maru (wooden-floored living room) or toenmaru (narrow wooden porch). In the yard east of Yangjo-dang, you can experience what it is like to live in a hanok, as well as participate in craft activities using Hanji (Korean paper).

Old Guam Seowon is a traditional Korean guesthouse located between Dongseong-ro and Seomun Market in Daegu. With land area of 2,300㎡, it has a total of six guestrooms, a shared living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The house has a large yard where guests can play various traditional Korean games such as "tuho" and "jaegichagi." In the backyard, guests can shoot arrows and try on traditional Korean clothes.
