It also has an exquisite surf shop, a spacious parking lot, a snack bar, and a resting spot, providing everything a surfer needs to hit the waters. They also offer a experience package, which includes a lesson session, an equipment rental kit and free activity time for enjoying surfing.

Cheollipo Arboretum is located on the tip of the Taean peninsula, and was founded by Min Byung-gal (Carl Ferris Miller), the "blue-eyed Korean." Min purchased the land in 1962 and starting in 1970, many trees were planted in earnest. At that time, the park was only open to experts in related fields and members who helped fund the arboretum. In 2009, select sections of the arboretum were finally opened to the general public. The arboretum features more than 16,830 kinds of plants (as of October 2022), including holly, magnolia, camelia, and maple trees, as well as five varieties of Rose of Sharon, the national flower.

Cheollipo Beach is among the many beaches located within Taeanhaean National Park. It is located 2 kilometers north of Mallipo Beach, a well-known beach in Taean. Another 2 kilometers north is Baengnipo Beach. The beaches in the park are characterized by shallow waters that are 1~2 meters deep with a 1-kilometer beach shore. In particular, Cheollipo Beach is noted as an amazing sunset spot, making it a popular attraction regardless of swimming season.

Padori Beach (파도리해수욕장)

Padori Beach, located at the westernmost point of the Taeanbando Peninsula, overlooks the Yellow Sea. It features both a sandy shore and a pebble beach composed of small, rounded pebbles eroded by the sea, known as haeok. Collecting haeok for personal use is forbidden; however, they are available for purchase at the showroom. North of the beach, a wave-formed cave can be found. Sea bathing at the beach is permitted exclusively from July to August. Additionally, there is a campground nestled within the pine forest.

Uihang Beach, situated in Taean, gets its name from "Uihang," meaning the neck of an ant, alluding to the area's narrow and elongated terrain. The Hanchaedang Hanok Stay Center consists of two hanok buildings with the same traditional structure, including a tiled-roof, maru (wooden floor), and gudeul (Korean floor heating system). The interiors offer a harmonious combination of modernity and the features of a traditional hanok house. Each room has a low table for four people, a central living room with en suite toilet and bidet, a main room (Anbang) with an en suite bathtub, toilet and bidet, another room (Geonneonbang), and a kitchen with a wine bar table. The main room has two sets of bedding for four people, while the other room has one set of bedding for two people. The extra bedding is always placed inside the wardrobe. Guests can cook in the kitchen, but they may only hold a BBQ outside. (There is a charge for the BBQ set.) The house overlooks the school playground below the building and the beach in the distance. The Hanchaedang is also a well-known film location with great interiors and attractive exterior views that have featured in various interview programs and TV dramas.

Located on Sinduri Beach in Taean, Sinduri Coastal Sand Dune is the only sand dune in Korea and one of Eight Tourist Attractions in Taean. It was believed to have been formed approximately 15,000 years ago after the Ice Age when strong winds gradually carried sand from the sea to the current area. The dune has all the qualities of a typical dunelnd, as well as being a buffer between the coast and inland.
