Mokpo Marine Cable Car departs from the North Port Terminal, ascends to the summit of Yudalsan Mountain where it rotates 90 degrees, then traverses over Mokpo and the Dadohae Sea to reach Gohado Island. Covering a distance of 3.23 kilometers, the round trip takes approximately 40 minutes. At the North Port, Yudalsan Mountain, and Gohado Island terminals, there are cafés, restaurants, and rooftop gardens available for visitors to enjoy.

It features historical sites from the Japanese colonial era, such as the Former Japanese Consulate and Mokpo History and Culture of Modern Times. Yudalsan Sculture Garden was the first outdoor sculpture garden to open in Korea, and is located just below Ideungbawi Rock at the summit of the mountain. The garden features 104 works of art on the themes of nature, culture, and sculpture that were selected through a panel of judges. Located between the different works are trees and plants, providing more beauty to the park. Looking farther away, visitors can see the major attractions of Mokpo spread out in the city below.

Sihwa Village in Seosan-dong is a place that conjures up feelings of nostalgia for the bygone days, home to a beautiful view of the harbor, the sea, and the villages atop Borimadang. Popular tourist sites include the Sihwa Alley, decorated with residents’ writings and pictures, and Yeonhee’s Supermarket, the filming location of “1987: When the Day Comes (2017).” Yeonhee’s Supermarket, in particular, offers photo spots and experiences that recreate scenes from the film.

Yeonhee's Supermarket is a small neighborhood market that preserves the look of Korea in the 1980s, exuding a retro vibe. It was used as the filming location for the movie "1987 (2017)" which depicts the June Democratic Uprising of 1987. It is the house where the protagonist, a university freshman at the time, lives with her mother and uncle. The store showcases old-fashioned items from the era, such as candies, snacks, gum, daily necessities, briquettes, and newspapers from 1987, recreating the appearance of the past.

Nojeokbong Peak is marked by a large boulder on Yudalsan Mountain overlooking Mokpo. This peak was used during the Imjin War (1592-1598) by Admiral Yi Sun-sin to win a victory without fighting. Men made of straw were placed throughout the mountain to create the appearance of a larger force, causing the invading Japanese navy to flee.
