Unlike most streams on Jeju Island that can easily run dry, Gangjeongcheon Stream, located to the east of Gangjeong Village in Seogwipo-si, flows with clear water all year round. The stream stretches 16 kilometers in length and has 7 small ponds, 6 bridges and 13 waterfalls. The old pine trees and uniquely formed rocks and stones on either side of the stream make for great natural sightseeing.

The stream is home to sweetfish and groups of mandarin ducks, which are Natural Monument. During summer, the stream is crowded with vacationers thanks to the clean water and relaxing environment.

Okdom Village specializes in seafood dishes. Their signature dolsot ssambap jeongsik (leaf wraps and hot stone pot rice set menu), offered in a limited quantity daily, include various dishes like steamed pork slices, grilled fish and spicy raw fish salad. Nearby is the red tilefish auction site, enabling visitors to enjoy grilled fish and fish soup made with fresh Jeju red tilefish caught that day.

Located in Seogwipo, Jeju Camellia Village has a 300-year history with its native camellia trees, and is involved in various projects. Visitors can explore the 300-400-year-old camellia trees scattered throughout the village, purchase authentic camellia oil from the community-operated mill, and participate in various experience programs such as camellia soap-making and cooking classes using camellia oil. From October to March, visitors can also purchase tangerines, locally produced by the village residents. Yeongsil Trail is renowned as the shortest yet the best trail for its beautiful scenery among those of Hallasan Mountain. It is 5.8 kilometers and takes approximately 2 hour and 30 minutes to get to the destination. Starting from Yeongsil Rest Area, an uphill path emerges along steep mountain ridges to reach the Nambyeok Watershed. With its steep and flat parts, the hike is easy enough for children. It's a wonderful way to appreciate the lush forest and beautiful scenery.

Jeju Yakcheonsa Temple (약천사(제주))

Jeju Yakcheonsa Temple is the largest temple in Asia. Originally a small hermitage named Yaksuam, it was named Yakcheonsa because of a famous mineral spring ('Yaksu') nearby. It enshrines tombstones of two royal couples from the Joseon Dynasty: King Munjong and his consort, and King Yeongchin and his consort. The temple also offers temple stays for both Koreans and foreigners.

Saryeoni Forest Trail cuts through the dense Japanese cedar forest growing between Mulchat Oreum and Saryeoni Oreum, starting from the entrance on Regional Road 1112. While the vast majority of the trees growing here are Japanese cedar, visitors can also see Japanese oak, birch, snowbell trees, and cypress trees along this 550-meter-long trail. The forest trail is known as one of Jeju's top 31 hidden attractions, and is well-known as being very protected. It is very popular among tourists who enjoy hiking and the outdoors.
