Kkwonggogae Park is an ecological forest where nature is preserved, located along the Hangang River, and has an excellent natural environment. Whereas the nearby Banghwa Community Park was founded for public service, Kkwonggogae Park was founded to preserve the existing habitats and ecosystems while serving as a passageway for small animals. Within the park is Chihyeonjeong Pavilion, Gangseo area's representative attraction for taking in the city nightscape. The hill's name, which can literally be translated as "Pheasant Hill Park," comes from the fact that this hill was a frequent pheasant hunting spot in the past. The park is located near Gagseo Dulle Trail Course No. 2.

The first naengmyeon restaurant to open in Hwapyeong-dong did so in the early to mid-70s. It wasn't until the early 2000's that the area saw an influx of over 20 naengmyeon restaurants. These days, visitors can choose from 13 restaurants. In the beginning, the servings here were all the standard found anywhere else in Korea. However, many of the factory workers in the area would come here, and ask for additional servings during their lunch break. Eventually, the restaurants began to serve larger sizes, naturally leading to the use of a large bowl to one similar to what people would use when washing their faces. Another specialty of the naengmyeon here is the addition of yeolmu kimchi (young summer radish kimchi). Many restaurants also offer free, unlimited refills on noodles.

Sorae Marsh Ecological Park is located on a vast plot of land in Incheon. The park first opened in June 1999 at the site of an old saltern on a 660,000 ㎡ plot but has expanded over the years to an area of 3.5 million ㎡. The previous salt storage has been converted into an ecology exhibition space, displaying the history of the area as well as the plants and animals that live here. The park expanded in April 2001 with the addition of the Ecology Hall and Nature Learning Center, offering various educational experience opportunities. The walking paths by the salt storage and the windmill are especially popular photo points. Many people visit in fall for the shimmering silver grass, said to appear in many colors depending on the lighting. The park amenities, including rest areas and benches, make the park a popular destination for families and couples.

Seoul Botanic Park integrates a botanical garden and a public park, and the area is the size of 70 soccer fields. It serves as a bridgehead and lifelong education institution with the aim of spreading urban garden culture while staying true to its original role as a plant research conservation institution through expanding endangered wild plant habitats, researching the proliferation of species, and developing varieties. The botanical garden is divided into four spaces: Open Forest, Themed Garden, Lake Garden, and Wetland Garden. The main highlight is the Themed Garden that comprises the Botanic Center, Mogok Cultural Hall, and an outdoor themed garden.
