Jeong's Family is a foreigner-only guesthouse in Hanseong Han River Apartments in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The apartment building is in a quiet residential area and has a fine view over the Han River and the riverside Hangang Park - which is a great place for walking or cycling. The two rooms are furnished with laptop PCs. Guests will recieve a welcome drink when they check-in, and a simple breakfast and dinner are provided upon prior reservation. The guesthouse is close to the airport bus stop, and convenient for public transport to tourist hotspots such as Gangnam, Hongdae, and Myeong-dong. There’s a key deposit system in operation.

Ssukgogae is a Korean and Western fusion restaurant situated at the beginning of Syarosu-gil. The standout menu item is the tong samgyeop kimchi jjim (braised whole pork belly with kimchi), a robust and spicy dish prepared with whole pork belly and soft bean curd. Another crowd-pleaser is the chicken cheongyang cream pasta (deep-fried chicken and cheongyang chili pepper cream pasta), featuring crispy fried shrimp and deep-fried chicken generously layered on soy cream sauce. The waffle gamja jeon (potato pancake), crispy and adorned with grated grana padano cheese, also earns acclaim. Wolmido Island (월미도)

Wolmido Island has very few historical records, despite being the location of a temporary palace, built in 1653 during the reign of King Hyojong. The palace was built on the eastern side of the island, but it is impossible to find traces of it now. From the late 1920s until the '30s, the island was transformed into a resort, a very popular destination at the time. Wolmi Culture Street opened in July 1989 and helped improve the area's fame.

On weekends and holidays, people flock to Wolmido Island to enjoy coffee and fresh seafood at the cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea. Despite being 1 kilometer off the coast, Wolmido is no longer an island, being connected to the mainland through modern construction techniques. It is now an easily accessible retreat for locals and tourists alike.
