Goyang West Three Royal Tombs is a significant historical site comprising three major royal burial grounds in the western area. Huireung Royal Tomb is dedicated to Queen Janggyeong (1491-1515), the consort of King Jungjong during the Joseon dynasty. Hyoreung Royal Tomb is the resting place of King Injong (1515-1545) and his queen, Inseong. Yereung Royal Tomb holds the remains of King Cheoljong (1831-1864) and his queen, Cheorin. Cheonggyecheon Museum officially opened in October 2005. The museum’s long, glass exterior represents the flowing waters of Cheonggyecheon Stream, which runs through the heart of Seoul. The museum has a permanent exhibition hall, special exhibition hall, educational hall, and an auditorium. The museum contains visual representations of Seoul before and after the transition of Cheonggyecheon Stream. The permanent exhibition hall was remodeled in October 2015, and now offers even more ways to view the history of Seoul as shaped by Cheonggyecheon Stream.

Iryeong Station is a train station that once served the Gyooe Line north of Seoul.
Passenger services ceased in 2004, and after the station master retired in 2013, it saw only occasional freight traffic before closing. In 2025, plans to reopen the line led to the restoration and reopening of the original station building, which now also houses a tourist information center displaying artifacts that showcase the railway line's past.

With its weathered signs and grass growing along the tracks, Iryeong Station has become a memorable tourist destination accessible from Seoul and a filming location for many movies, commercials, and music videos. One notable example is the 2001 film "My Sassy Girl (2001)," in which The Girl (Jun Ji-hyun) and Gyeon-woo (Cha Tae-hyun) bury a time capsule together at the station before going their separate ways.

Jeoldusan Martyrs' Shrine is the site where many Catholic believers were executed in 1866 due to persecution. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the martyrdom, the Korean Catholic Church opened the Memorial Hall in October 1967, exhibiting materials, relics, and souvenirs related to the Korean Catholic Church and operating a museum. Pope Johannes Paulus II visited the site in 1984, and Mother Teresa visited in 1985.

Korean Martyrs’ Museum was opened in October of 1967 as Jeoldusan Martyrs' Shrine, in memory of the Catholic martyrs who lost their lives during the Byeongin Persecution of 1866.
