Insa-dong PR Center opened in 2006 with the goal of providing accessible education for both domestic and international visitors to understand Korean traditions and history. Jihwaja is a traditional Korean restaurant operated by a successor of Joseon dynasty royal dishes. Their manchan course (full course) includes menus served at royal banquets such as gungjung manchan (royal course), Jineo-byul manchan (deluxe royal degustation course), and janggeum manchan (daejanggeum degustation course) courses. The janggeum course reconstructs dishes from the drama "Dae Jang Geum." For the Jeongchan course (Set menu), they offer so galbi sura (grilled beef ribs course), jeonbok cho sura (braised abalones in soy sauce course), so galbi jjim sura (braised beef short ribs course), and haemul sinseollo sura (seafood hot pot course). Additionally, they serve milk porridge, meat and vegetable skewers, mandu, royal hot pot, and grilled marinated beef.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located deep in the Seochon Village, west of Seoul’s Gyeongbokgung Palace. Its tasteful renovation of a small 33 m2 hanok made it highly popular among the younger guests. The courtyard has a low maple tree and tastefully arranged stones, while the hanok is capable of accommodating up to 2 persons.
This L-shaped hanok has a full window wall facing the living room, which is furnished with a low walnut table and a bathtub. Visitors can enjoy premium tea at the table. The bathtub, which is connected to the table at one end, can be used mainly for a foot bath with bath salts that assist circulation. There is also a restroom in the building.
Nuwa’s bedroom has a circular window, much like the full moon, with a view of the garden and the fringes of the Inwangsan Mountain.

Makgeolli is a traditional liquor made from rice or wheat as a main ingredient and with yeast and various other ingredients. Its uniqueness lies in the main ingredient or yeast used, thus a variety of makgeolli made with local specialties can be found throughout Korea. Neulmajung is a pub restaurant that serves 34 types of makgeolli from all over the country, as well as many foods that go well with them. In addition, its soft wooden interior creates a comfortable atmosphere. Its representative dish is haemul pajeon (seafood and green onion pancake), made with plenty of ingredients. They also serve crispy pan-fried gamja jeon (potato pancake) and memil jeonbyeong (buckwheat crepe), rich in both flavor and taste as it is made with buckwheat from Bongpyeong, Gangwon-do, all of which are a perfect paring to makgeolli.
