Gyeongui Line Forest Park is a linear city park located in Mapo-gu and is also called Yeontral Park. It includes Daeheung-dong, Yeonnam-dong, Saechanggogae Pass, Changjeon-dong, Sinsu-dong, and Wonhyo-ro, which were opened in this order. Gyeongui Line Forest Park is established atop the Gyeongui railroad line and the Gyeongui Line and Airport Railroad Express are constructed as a double track underground. Gyeongui Line Forest Park was designed to be incomplete on purpose to invite the citizens in completing the park. The area which could have been left empty and neglected has turned into a meaningful green park for the citizens by the citizens.

Like any good traditional market, Daerim Market offers vegetables, fruits, meat products, seafood, grain, and clothing at affordable prices. Visitors are recommneded to visit the restaurants hidden throughout the market, such as Halmaejip, a 50-year-old restaurant serving excellent banquet noodles, japchae, and tteokbokki; and Wooyirak, which serves pancakes with cream makgeolli (unrefined rice wine). Because the food is affordable and delicious, the market sees a lot of visitors throughout the day.

Cheongansa Temple was first built in 1960, and was re-built in 2009. It has many pagodas and monuments: a pagoda filled with sari relics of Buddha; Budotap Pagoda, which is a shrine to the monk who found the temple and his sacred relics; and a monument honoring the late first lady Yuk yeong-su. The re-built temple was awarded the Hanok Prize in the Hanok Competition 2011. Located along the Bukhansan Mt. Dulaegil Trail, the temple provide visitors with the chance to enjoy fresh air and a rest from hiking along the trail.
