Ajunghosu Lake (아중호수)

Ajunghosu is a large-scale reservoir that was originally built for agricultural purposes but is now beloved as cultural and natural space for local residents. The lake features a wooden deck walkway that creates a beautiful scene at night when lit up.

Jeonju Hanok Railbike (전주한옥레일바이크)

Jeonju Hanok Railbike runs along an abandoned section of railroad on the Ajung Line near Jeonju Hanok Village, one of Korea’s largest landmarks. The course runs approximately 3.4 kilometers round-trip from Silli to Waemangsil at a speed of about 15 to 20 kilometers per hour.

Railbikes make for a fun activity for individuals, groups of family or company, field trips, experiential study and other varied events. The railbikes are available to enjoy all year round and the rail park houses varied subsidiary facilities including a photo zone, and Ajung Dabang.

Museongseowon Confucian Academy [UNESCO World Heritage] (무성서원 [유네스코 세계문화유산])

Museongseowon Confucian Academy was built in 1615 to honor Silla's scholar Choe Chiwon (857-?). An important cultural heritage for understanding the principles of Confucianism and culture of the Joseon dynasty, it is recognized as a representative example of seowon architecture and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The traditional architecture still remains, and the surrounding scenery, including old ginkgo trees, is beautiful.

Jeonju Zoo (전주동물원)

Located about 1 kilometer away from Deokjin Park in Deokjin-gu, Jeonju-si, the zoo is equipped with not only diverse animals and plants, but also a field for soccer, a volleyball court and many other sports facilities. In addition to their leisure grounds, the amusement park 'DreamLand' is found to the eastside of the zoo.

Opened on June 10, 1978, the zoo houses visitors' all time favorites like tigers, lions, giraffes, hippos, buffalo, rhinos, camels and more exotic animals, coming to a total of 670 animals made up of 106 different species.

Bibinakan (비비낙안)

Climbing the steep stairs leading to Bibinakan affords one a view of the open lawn and view of the cafe where BTS members sat comfortably. The scenery of Wanju and the leisurely flow of the Mangyeonggang River as well as downtown Jeonju can be seen in a panoramic view without obstruction. Especially when the sun goes down, the sunset over the river is spectacular scenery.

Bibinakan, along with Oseongje Reservoir and Awon Museum and Hotel, is considered one of the refreshing spots in Wanju favored by BTS members. While you enjoy healthy organic drinks and take in the panoramic views, you can understand why BTS chose this location.
