Standing on Hanji-gil in Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeollabuk-do, Dankyung is a hanok stay with a more-than 80 year history that now welcomes travellers to a comfortable and cozy space. There are five accommodations altogether - four rooms in the main building, plus an annexe which is rented as a whole house. The floors are of wood, creating a delicate scent in all the rooms. Bukyeongdang is a traditional hanok with a beautiful garden in the center of Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeollabuk-do. Traditional roof tiles and wooden porch, jar stands next to stone walls, and a small flower garden all express characterist hanok charm. Simple cooking is possible in the shared kitchen. Visitors can store their luggage before check-in and after check-out, and tourist information is provided. Eosahwa Hanok Stay, which stands in the center of Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeollabuk-do, was originally built as the residence of the Jeonju police chief; it’s unusually high for a hanok and faces south. The Jeonju National Museum was established in 1990 as an institute for the research, preservation, and exhibition of Jeollabuk-do’s most prized cultural treasures. In November of 2002, a Social Educational Hall was opened as a creative educational space to provide visitors a place to experience traditional culture. The museum houses over 40,000 artifacts, a majority of which were excavated from the Jeollabuk-do area, and has on exhibit over 2,000 pieces spread throughout 4 exhibition halls and 1 outdoor exhibition hall. The museum also serves as a venue for numerous cultural activities and educational programs, providing visitors with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Korea’s proud history.

Deoksugung is a traditional hanok stay situated in a residential area across from the entrance to Jeonju Hanok Village. It has seven rooms for couples and one room for four people, all of which are ondol rooms. Rooms are equipped with a bathroom, a mini-refrigerator, television, and a private parking lot. There is no cooking allowed in the rooms, but you are welcome to prepare simple meals in the shared kitchen. Rentals of hanboks and rail bikes are available at a discount at the hotel.

The Hanok, located in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, is a large hanok guesthouse built of beautiful tradition materials - cypress wood, red clay, and traditional hanji paper. The largest of the 7 rooms (Gwibin - ‘Special Guest’) has a king-size bed, ondol underfloor heating, and a massage bed, making it suitable for two families. One room has an attic, one has an red clay bed, and one has a bunk bed made of re-used traditional materials. In the spacious yard, guests can enjoy delightful moonlight tea parties.
