The Independence Hall of Korea collects, preserves, displays, and researches Korean historical documents and relics from the past to the present, focusing on the independence movements during the Japanese colonial period. Cheonghwajip is said to be the oldest sundae restaurant in Byeongcheon Sundae Street, having opened in 1968. There are only two items on offer: sundae gukbap (sundae and rice soup) and modeum sundae (assorted sundae). Sundae gukbap (sundae and rice soup) is a milky soup with tender sundae and meat, delivering refreshing and deep flavors. Modeum sundae (assorted sundae) has a variety of sundae and meat parts plated together.

The Cheonan Three-way Intersection Park (Cheonan Samgeori Park) used to be a three-way junction that divides into the road to Seoul in the north; Daegu, Gyeongju, and Dongnae in the southeast; and Jeonju, Gwangju, and Mokpo in the southwest. In the Joseon dynasty, the intersection served as a major division point, with travelers of different classes, from wealthy officials to humble scholars, stopping by to take a break on their way. Many legends and enjoyable folk songs, known as heungtaryeong, originated from this area. This significant junction was developed into a park by planting trees, rearranging facilities, and holding cultural events to honor the site's history and attract visitors.

A branch of Magoksa Temple, which is the 6th local temple of the Jogyejong Order, Yeongpyeongsa Temple has six traditional buildings and three small hermitages. Janggunsan Mountain, where the temple is located, is small but full of energy. According to Feng Shui, the mountain is a perfect location for a temple because it is shaped like a dragon curled along the Geumgang River. Yeongpyeongsa is a tranquil place that captures the purity of the temple’s Buddhist practice, with fresh air and clean water that offer a habitat for fireflies, crawfish, and black snails. On the way in, visitors are greeted by a multitude of wildflowers vying for their attention: the columbines and the prairie crocuses in spring, the white lotuses in summer, and the Siberian chrysanthemums in autumn.
