Hotel the H is a business hotel located 300 meters from the Sintanjin Station in Daejeon. Offering reasonable rates and high-quality service, the accommodation suits not just business trips but casual travels as well. The 32 rooms are categorized into standard, twin, and pent rooms. Standard rooms are for one person or more, whereas pent rooms are for 6-8 persons. In the pent room, barbeque, camp fire, or cooking is allowed. It also has its own terrace and swimming pool, making the room suitable for office or family gathering. Complimentary breakfast (consisting of toast, cereal, various instant noodles, rice, coffee, juice, and milk) is provided at the cafe on the first floor for all guests. Buchu Haemul Kalguksu Sikdang is a restaurant famous for its buchu haemul kalguksu (noodle soup with chives and seafood). The dish features a broth that is simmered for two hours using chicken and vegetables. Generous amounts of daily-caught fresh clams and plenty of chives are then added, creating a clean and exceptionally tasty soup. Thanks to its refreshing taste, it is also popular as a hangover remedy. Pairing it with jjukkumi (spicy stir-fried webfoot octopus) is highly recommended.

Jeonuihyanggyo Confucian School is thought to have been built in 1413 during the 13th year of King Taejong’s reign. The school features a simple spatial arrangement with only Myeongnyundang and Daeseongjeon Study Halls, each with three gates in the front. Outside the western wall of Myeongnyundang Hall is Sujiksa Temple.

Several books - Jaeimnok, Seonan, several texts on rituals, and Eojeyuneum (1782-1783), which was published in 1782 (6th year of King Jeongjo’s reign) and 1783, have been found at Jeonui Hyanggyo.

Gapsa Temple is located in the forested foothills of Gyeryongsan Mountain, 19 kilometers from Gongju and a three-hour walk from Donghaksa Temple. The temple is most beautiful during fall when surrounded by crimson foliage. Gapsa Temple was established by monk Adohwasang in 420, during the early Baekje Period. The temple's beauty allowed it to escape destruction many times, but it was ultimately burned down during the Imjin War (1592-1598). The current structures were built in 1604. Nearby attractions include Yongmunpokpo Falls, Sujeongbong Peak, and Cheonjinbotab Pagoda.

Daejeon National Cemetery covers a vast area of land spanning 330,000 ㎡. The cemetery is comprised of graves for the deceased patriots, men of national merit, generals, officers, soldiers, and more. Major facilities include the Memorial Tower and Memorial Gate for paying reverence to the deceased patriots, Patriotic Spirit Exhibition Center displaying photos and articles left by the deceased, and an outdoor exhibition space, where military battle equipment is on display.
