Yongmunsa Temple is located about 9 kilometers northeast from Yongmun Station on the Jungang line. It was built during the Silla Kingdom and reconstructed during the reign of King Sejong of the Joseon dynasty. It was badly damaged during the Korean War, but was restored and now consists of three buildings, the main hall, Daeungjeon Hall, and the bell tower. Its courtyard contains the largest ginkgo tree in Asia, which is 1,100 years old, measures 60 meters in x_height and 14 meters in circumference and is designated and protected as a Natural Monument. Legend says the great Buddhist Monk Uisang, who lived during the Silla Kingdom, stuck his staff in the earth, and the tree grew out of the simple staff.

Godalsa Temple Site, at the foot of Hyemoksan Mountain, shows the remnants of a temple that was built in AD 764. The temple rose to prominence in the Goryeo period, but was destroyed at some point, although the timing and reason is unknown. While the temple grounds are no longer at their peak of glory, they do still hold a national treasure, four treasures, and one tangible cultural heritage, making it an important site.

Seolmaejae Recreational Forest is located around Seolmaejae Pass, named for the apricot blossoms ('mae') that would bloom in the snow ('seol')-filled pass ('jae'). The forest is only an hour's drive out of Seoul, making it easily accessible for people looking to escape the city. This is a simple station that closed in 2012, and the waiting room, the station office, the railroad that stretched out toward one point, and the vehicles that stopped there remain intact. It is decorated as a cultural space in every corner, so you can look around in detail or just enjoy a walk along the railroad tracks. The Garden of Confession, the ground-breaking floor painting, and the train not running are photo points.

Jungwonpokpo Falls is located at the eastern edge of Jungwon Valley in Jungwonsan Mountain, Yangpyeong. A 15-minute walk from the parking lot through the valley pathway will take the visitors to the three-tiered waterfalls. Rather a small waterfall less than 10 meters high, Jungwonpokpo Falls is surrounded by cliffs with fantastic rock formations that look like folding screens. The plunge pool is also impressive with its depth and x_width. Located nearby is another waterfall known as Chimapokpo Falls.
