U Retreat was designed by Kwak Hee-soo, a recipient of the Presidential Award of Korea Architecture Award, with the motif of a 21st century pavilion. The accommodation has only nine guest rooms. Every room is equipped with a spa bathtub and cooking facilities, including an infinity pool, barbecue area, and cafe.

Yumyeongsan Mountain (유명산)

Originally, no name was given to this mountain on topographical maps. But in 1973, when the Empor Alpine Club reached the mountain during a hike across the nation, the club members named it after Jin Yu-myeong, a member of the expedition. On old maps, the mountain had been called Mayusan Mountain because of the horses raised in the area, but today it is more widely known as Yumyeongsan Mountain. The trail that starts from Yangpyeong leads to an expansive and open grassland. The hiking trails are also connected to those of Mount Daebusan and Mount Sogunisan. On the summit, there is a pile of stones, and the view from the top is splendid.

Located in Banditbul Village, Seorak-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Bandi Village is a pool villa pension for pet dogs. There six guest rooms with two stories, including a spacious living room, kitchen, and dining room on the first floor and a bedroom on the second floor. There is an exclusive bathtub and dry room for dogs on one side of the living room, and potty pads, dog diapers and wraps, and dog towels are provided free of charge. There are also emergency first aid kits available for dogs. There is a grassy area outside, as well as a playground exclusively for dogs. Ananti Chord is a golf resort operated by the golf course leisure expert company Emerson Pacific. Ananti Chord was designed to blend in with the natural surroundings, x_heightening the aesthetic features of each component that make up the resort, including the golf courses, buildings, and nature. Although the golf course is exclusive to members only, Ananti Chord welcomes non-members to use the racket club, swimming pool, restaurants, and other amenities. Sanasagyegok Valley (사나사계곡)

Sanasagyegok Valley, located in Yongmunsan Mountain, is characterized by its ample x_width, crystal-clear water, and abundant water volume. The thick forests and slopes of Yongmunsan Mountain offer stunning views, attracting many visitors during the summer vacation period. Approximately 100m up from the valley's entrance is Hamwanghyeol Cave, associated with the legend of Hamwang, a fierce warlord from the Goryeo dynasty. Further up, the Buddhist Sanasa Temple can be found.

Baegunbong Peak (백운봉)

Baegunbong (alt. 940m) is a sharp pointed peak that sits on the border between Yangpyeong-eup and Okcheon-myeon in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Province. It is the highest of the peaks along the southern ridge of Yongmunsan Mountain (alt. 1,157m). The two most popular hiking trails along Baegunbong start at Yeonsu-ri in Yongmun-myeon and offer a relatively short hike to the summit.

Jungmisan Observatory (중미산 천문대)

Situated only 40 minute's drive from Seoul, the Jungmisan Observatory is nestled within Jungmisan Recreational Forest 437 kilometers above sea level. In addition to the beautiful natural scenery, the main draw of this particular location is that there is no other place near Seoul as this forest where one can get an excellent view of the night sky. From Seoul, one might expect to see about three stars on a good day, while at the Jungmisan Observatory one can typically observe over 3,000 stars.

Jungmisan Observatory provides an experiential learning center that offers astronomy programs for children, including preschoolers. Children can gain a deeper understanding of space and basic astronomy through various programs, such as stargazing. In addition to the astronomy programs, the observatory also offers forest bathing, forest ecology, and insect learning programs along with the nearby recreational forest.
