According to historic records, ceramics have been developed here since the early days of the Joseon dynasty, as the nation’s best materials for making ceramics, such as clay, white clay, and Kaolin, were produced around Ssarisan Mountain in Bungnae-myeon. Mid-standing artists here study the process of making traditional ceramics as well as more novel works that utilize unconventional methods. Yeoju Ceramic Art Complex not only provides high quality ceramics, it offers visitors a chance to see the process of making art pieces. There are over 60 personal exhibition halls with various styles of ceremics. Every May, there is a festival for visitors to enjoy.

Mok-A Museum, designated as intangible cultural asset No. 108, was established by Park Chan-su with the purpose of handing down traditional Buddhist art and traditional woodcraft techniques. The four-story museum contains an outdoor sculpture park.

The exhibition displays that remain include Buddhist statues, paintings, and sculptures, as well as the works of director Park Chan-su, including many Buddhist woodcrafts. The outdoor sculpture park displays Buddhist statues such as Mireuksamjondaebul, Birojanabul, Baeuigwaneum, and a three-story pagoda.

After the charcoal is removed, visitors can enjoy the residual heat for steaming in the sauna rooms. Icheon Doniul (Dori-ri) Village in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, is a typical farm village located on a plain field between Wonducheon Stream and Yanghwacheon Village. Dori-ri Village is a prestigious village where the culture of the Samhan period is still passed down. The rice cultivation is part of the culture that has been passed down since the Samhan period. The name "Doniul" is derived from the nearby Sodonibong Peak. The word "doni" means a wide field with wetlands. The village is made up of approximately 100 households with 303 villagers. It is also known as a village of longevity as many of the residents are over 100 years old. The village is the producer of the famous Icheon rice for the king. The village is located approximately 12 kilometers from Icheon downtown, which can be reached in an hour from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal.

Gamgok Cathedral was founded in 1896 by Father Camillus Bouillon, who came to Korea from France directly after gaining his priesthood. The church was dedicated to the Virgin Mary due to the priest's prayers to the Blessed Mother to provide the land for the church.

The church has a long history spanning over 100 years. It was reportedly used as a shelter for local citizens from North Korean soldiers returning north during the end of the Korean War. The current structure was built in 1930, designed after the Myeong-dong Cathedral in Seoul. Also on the church grounds is Maegoe Museum, originally the house of Father Bouillon, which is now converted into a museum showing the history of this small, yet important Cathedral.
