Samaksan Mountain Lake Cable Car is the longest cable car in Korea, which connects Samcheon-dong and Samaksan Mountain across Uiamho Lake. The 20 Crystal Cabins among the 66 total cabins offer the best choice to enjoy the beautiful Uiamho Lake and Samaksan Mountain. Samaksan Lake Cable Car Building, which resembles a bow and boomerang, has a variety of amenities. There are restaurants, convenience stores, cafés, and souvenir shops at Uiamho Lake Stop (lower stop). Jade Garden is an exotic arboretum established with the theme of “small Europe in the forest.” It was built on an area of 163,500 m2 by keeping its natural topography and establishing 24 themed gardens. This European-style arboretum comprises Italy’s Tuscan-style Visitor Center at the entrance, English Border Garden, and Italian Wedding Garden built with Italian style of garden and waterway. It also has three walking paths -Namunaeum-gil, Danpungnamu-gil, Supsokbaram-gil. Namunaeum-gil in the middle of the arboretum is paved with woodchips and has good accessibility to the theme gardens. Danpungnamu-gil located at a high ground is a quiet trail, while Supsokbaram-gil is surrounded by thick trees and an ideal walking path in the summer season. Each walking path requires 40 to 60 min each way, and they are connected in the middle of the trails. Each path begins from the Visitor Center and ends at the White Garden or Sky Garden at the top of the arboretum. Visitors can take a rest at a cafe, restaurant, and souvenir shop. The nighttime operation is available depending on the season, and the shuttle bus runs between Gulbongsan Station of the Gyeongchun Line and the Arboretum.

Daewondang, a bakery established in 1968, is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Chuncheon. The spacious store showcases a wide variety of breads. Signature items include the Guro mammoth (streusel mammoth bun), richly filled with ingredients, buttercream ppang (buttercream bun) packed with soft cream, and saengcream choux (fresh cream choux). The store also features a seating area where customers can enjoy coffee with their bread. It's located 1.7km from Namchuncheon station.

Namchuncheon Station (남춘천역)

Namchuncheon Station is located on the Seoul Subway Gyeongchun Line in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do. The station is also called Gangwondae, as Kangwon National University - Chuncheon Campus is nearby. Chuncheon Station, Gyeongchun Line's original final stop, was temporarily closed in October of 2005 for double-track electrification construction. During this time, Namchuncheon Station was used as the final stop.
