Statue of Soyanggang Maid (소양강처녀상)

This Soyanggang Maiden Statue stands high between Soyanggang Skywalk and Soyang i(2)gyo Bridge. This statue, representing Korea’s popular song Soyanggang Cheonyeo (maiden), is 12 m high in total, combining 5 m-high base stone and 7 m-high body. If you see it close to, the statue looks very big. The statue depicts a maiden who holds her skirt hem with one hand and reed with the other, and her breast-knot flapping in the wind. The base stone has the inscription of lyrics. The lyrics belong to the song Soyanggang Cheonyeo composed by Ban Ya-wol, who left hit songs, such as Crossing the Teary Pass of Bakdaljae, and Brokenhearted Miari Ridge.

Soyanggang Skywalk (소양강스카이워크)

The Soyanggang Skywalk, extending over the river, spans 174 meters in length, with a transparent glass floor covering 156 meters of its section. At the end of the skywalk, visitors will find a circular plaza and an observatory, renowned for their panoramic views, especially of the sunsets. Additionally, the Ssogarisang sculpture, depicting a leopard mandarin fish, stands on the opposite side of the plaza, drawing in visitors. Water from a fountain flows from this sculpture at fixed intervals, adding to the allure.

Chuncheon Art Gallery started from a simple exhibition at the Children’s Center in Samcheon-dong in 1995. Park Soo Keun (1914-1965) was an artist who devoted his life to drawing the lives of ordinary people with a warm gaze. The Park Soo Keum Museum, which has a floor space of 700 square meters, is built upon the artist’s birthplace in his hometown in Yanggu-gun, Gangwon-do. The museum was founded with the intent to develop into a major cultural space for the region and to honor Park Soo Keun’s life and art. The collection of Park Soo Keun’s artworks shown at the museum include his oil paintings, a number of prints such as "The Tree and Two Ladies" and "Tapdori," watercolor painting "Watercolors," and dozens of other drawings.

Chuncheondaegyo Bridge (춘천대교)

Chuncheondaegyo Bridge is a bridge that connects downtown and Legoland Theme Park located on Jungdo Island in Uiamho Lake. The bridge won the Grand Prize in the Civil Engineering Structure Awards of the Year during the 2019 Civil Engineering Day celebration. The main tower made with Lego's circular shape as a motif is impressive. A night view of lights and a pleasant drive make this a popular attraction. Don't miss the brilliant fountain shows that run 3 times every evening (20:00, 21:00, 22:00) and last about 40 minutes with 12 images of Chuncheon. Meanwhile, it is the filming location for the scene where Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk look at the rainbow in the drama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One (2022)."
