Chiaksan Mountain has several peaks reaching x_heights of over 1,000 meters, including Namdaebong, Cheonjibong, Hyangnobong, Sambong, and Birobong Peak, the tallest of the peaks at 1,288 meters. Chiaksan National Park, designated in 1984, encompasses a 182.09 ㎢ area with a 14-kilometer trail connecting the peaks from Birobong Peak in the north to Namdaebong Peak in the south.

In addition to these soaring peaks, the park also includes many deep valleys, unique rock formations, waterfalls, and tourist attractions. Some of the more popular destinations are Geumdaegyegok Valley, Taejongdae Rock, Seryeompokpo Falls, and Guryongsa Temple. The park draws in hikers all year round, with bright azaleas in spring, lush forests in summer, vibrant foliage in fall, and a white wonderland in winter.

Yeoju Charcoal Village is a multifaceted leisure facility featuring charcoal saunas, an auto campground, and pensions. The charcoal saunas have gained such popularity that an auto campground was established nearby. These saunas comprise ten red clay rooms, which are heated by burning oak wood for five days. After the charcoal is removed, visitors can enjoy the residual heat for steaming in the sauna rooms. For accommodation, there are fourteen pension buildings and a campground segmented into six zones, totaling 120 sites.

Cheoneunsagyegok Valley is located at the entrance to the hiking trail to Baegunsan Mountain. The area is adorned with a diverse array of tree species, including pine trees, creating an ideal environment for woodland walks. Stretching for about 500 meters from the entrance to Cheoneunsa Temple, the valley features clear, cool waters and broad rocks, making it a favored destination for summer vacationers.

Mok-A Museum, designated as intangible cultural asset No. 108, was established by Park Chan-su with the purpose of handing down traditional Buddhist art and traditional woodcraft techniques. The four-story museum contains an outdoor sculpture park.

The exhibition displays that remain include Buddhist statues, paintings, and sculptures, as well as the works of director Park Chan-su, including many Buddhist woodcrafts. The outdoor sculpture park displays Buddhist statues such as Mireuksamjondaebul, Birojanabul, Baeuigwaneum, and a three-story pagoda.

Yeoju Hwangpo Sailboat (여주 황포돛배)

The Yeoju Hwangpo Sailboat, historically utilized for transporting goods in the Joseon period and propelled by the wind, has been recreated on the Namhangang River. It operates from the riverside recreation area to Silleuksa Temple, making the round trip seven times daily.
