Seolcheon Namhae Coastal Road, spanning 35 kilometers, connects Noryang in Seolcheon-myeon to Jijok in Samdong-myeon in Namhae. Celebrated for its scenic beauty, this route is particularly enchanting in spring, adorned with cherry blossoms and mustard flowers. The journey unfolds against the backdrop of the stunning natural landscapes of the Hallyeosudo along the coast. It is a zip line that starts at the top of Geumosan Mountain at an altitude of 849 m, boasting the longest length in Asia. The cast from “House on Wheels” and “I Live Alone” were in awe of the scenery of the tea fields with the Korean archipelago in the background, drawing attention from viewers. When seen in person, the view is much more beautiful than anything the screen could display, not to mention the fast speed of the zip-wire is way more thrilling than what you could imagine; flying towards the blue southern sea at a speed of up to 120 km per hour, you’ll feel as if you left your heart behind you on the platform.

This restaurant built up a strong and loyal fanbase in a small rural village in Gwangyang with just one dish, jaecheophoe. Jinseon’s version of this dish uses plenty of fresh vegetables, such as cucumber, paprika, zucchini, and cabbage, with pear and blanched freshwater marsh clams. You can enjoy it mixed with a dipping sauce of chojang (spicy red pepper paste) and sesame oil, or over rice like a jaecheop-hoe-dobap.

American Village, overlooking the beautiful Aenggang Bay and Nodo Island in Namhae, is a settlement village created for the Koreans in the US who wanted to return to their home in Korea to spend their old age. The village, consisting of 22 American-style houses and pensions, allows visitors to experience the American culture. Although, not large, it offers visitors a chance to experience the unique design of each house while taking a leisurely stroll. As visitors go up from the entrance of the village, they can see the Yongmunsa Temple, the oldest and largest Buddhist temple in Namhae.

Jeodo Island derives its name from the abundance of paper mulberry (a fiber crop largely used for papermaking) growing on the island. The letter "jeo" refers to paper mulberry, while "-do" refers to island.

On Jeodo Island, one can get a glimpse of what daily life in a small fishing village is like. The island can also be seen just behind the bamboo weirs from Siran Dock. The view is a combination of a lighthouse, fishing site, lush meadows, and lodgings with the ocean in the background. Fishing using bamboo weirs is a rare sight to see in Korea, and can only be found on the southern coast.

Geumjeong Gwangyang Bulgogi is a restaurant specializing in Gwangyang-style bulgogi, a local food from Gwangyang in Jeollanam-do. Gwangyang bulgogi is made by marinating prepared beef in a seasoned sauce before grilling it over charcoal. It's renowned as a local favorite and attracts many visitors, especially on weekends after drives or bike rides.

Hadong Pine Forest grows along the Seomjingang River near Seomjingang Iron Bridge. It was planted in 1745, during the 21st year of Joseon King Yeongjo’s reign, to block wind and sand. Now, it is one of the best pine groves in Korea.

In a total area of 26,000 ㎡ are approximately 750 old-growth pine trees. Along with the white sand on the riverside, the forest provides picturesque scenery when seen from Hasangjeong Pavilion within the forest. The forest park is used as a venue for folk games and major events hosted by the local government. There are sports facilities and recreational facilities teenagers, children, and families can enjoy, attracting many locals and tourists.

Another popular menu is the Modum Jeongsik (assorted freshwater marsh clam set menu), which has jaecheopguk, jaecheopjeon, and jaecheophoe.
