The Jeon Hyuck Lim Museum of Art is located on the way to Yonghwasa Temple on Mireuksan Mountain in Tongyeong. This site used to be the location of the house where master painter Jeon Hyuck-lim lived for about 30 years since 1975. A new building was constructed and the site was turned into a creative space, opening to the public on May 11, 2003.
The outer walls of the building is decorated with the master painter's paintings and his son Yeonggeun's paintings which were selected from among their works and reproduced by utilizing about 7,500 20x20cm ceramic tiles, with a view to represent the image of Tongyeong and the artistic image of the master painter. In particular, the front wall on the third floor is a reproduction of the great artist's work titled "Window" painted in 1992.

Pak Kyongni Memorial Hall was established to deepen appreciation for the literary works of Tongyeong-born novelist Pak Kyongni. The main facilities include an exhibit hall, archive, and video hall. Visitors can explore her personal items, such as letters and autographic manuscripts of her most famous novel, Toji (The Land), as well as other books she wrote. Additionally, the site of the Memorial Hall, known as Pak Kyongni Park, encompasses her grave and a hexagonal pavilion, offering a tranquil space for visitors to reflect and spend time.

Sebyeonggwan Hall, located in Tongyeong, Gyeongsangnam-do, was established in 1605 by the 6th generation commander-in-chief Lee Kyung-jun and is well known as one of the widest buildings of the Joseon period along with Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in Gyeongbokgung Palace and Jinnamgwan Hall in Yeosu-si.
Sebyeonggwan Hall is placed at the foot of Yeohwangsan Mountain and overlooks Tongyeong. Right next to the hall are the remains of the naval base Tongjeyeong, which includes Unjudang (also called Jeseungdang, a military education center for the Joseon Navy) among others.
Sebyeonggwan Hall symbolizes the ending of the war, the washing away and cleaning up of the weapons of war.

Constructed over a 16-month period from 1931 to 1932, the undersea tunnel in Tongyeong is Asia’s first submarine tunnel. For its construction, the sea water was blocked at both ends, the tunnel was dug underground, and was paved with concrete. The Korean word “Yongmundalyang” engraved at the entrance of this 483-meter long, 5-meter wide tunnel means “the entrance of an undersea tunnel that connects island to land.”

Chungnyeolsa Shrine in Tongyeong is dedicated to Admiral Yi Sun-sin, a national hero whose naval victories were crucial in repelling Japanese invasions of Korea in the 1590s. The shrine complex includes Dongjae and Seojae, where ritual ceremonies are prepared; a main shrine housing his spirit tablet and portrait; and an exhibit hall showcasing artifacts related to the Japanese Invasion of 1592. Rituals honoring the Admiral continue to be held every spring and fall to this day.

Located on Cheonamsan Mountain near the southwestern sea of Tongyeong, Tongyeong Ecological Forest is full of the Hinoki cypress trees. It features a walking trail surrounded by subtropical plants, a deck path through the woods, a resting forest, a children’s forest education center, an ecological playground, and a golden oak mushroom farm. Moreover, visitors can see rabbits and deer, admire small fishing boats passing through Tongyeong Port from the observatory, and explore the forest with a guide.

Neungpohang Port, located in Geoje, spans 1.7 km until Yangjiam and is connected to Jangseungpo by road. Designated as a national port in 1971, it was revamped in 2016 into a multifunctional port. Today it serves not only as an infrastructure for fisheries industries, but is also gaining popularity for marine leisure, cultural activities, and tourism. Its breakwaters and waterside park make it a favored destination, attracting families and other tourists alike.
