The Geoje Codfish Festival presents a variety of performances and events. In particular, many visitors enjoy participating in the Codfish Direct Sales Marketplace, and the on-the-spot codfish auctions. Throughout the festival, visitors are able to buy codfish and salted fish at affordable prices, as well as enjoy the taste of these local products.

Neungpohang Port (능포항)

Neungpohang Port, located in Geoje, spans 1.7 km until Yangjiam and is connected to Jangseungpo by road. Designated as a national port in 1971, it was revamped in 2016 into a multifunctional port. Today it serves not only as an infrastructure for fisheries industries, but is also gaining popularity for marine leisure, cultural activities, and tourism. Its breakwaters and waterside park make it a favored destination, attracting families and other tourists alike.

Okpo Great Victory Commemorative Park (옥포대첩기념공원)

Okpo Great Victory Commemorative Park was built in 1996 to commemorate Admiral Yi Sun-sin's first victory of the Okpo Battle during the Imjin War (1592-1598). Visitors can go up the memorial tower and Okporu Pavilion to get an unobstructed view of the Okpo Bay ahead. In addition to the tower and pavilion, the park also has a shrine dedicated to Admiral Yi.

Deokpo Beach is a white sandy beach in the city of Geoje in Gyeongsangnam-do. The 450 meter-long and 40 meter-wide beach offers fine sand, clear waters, a gentle slope and old sea pine trees along the coast. Nearby attractions include the Okpo Great Victory Commemorative Park, which was built in 1996 to commemorate the victory of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, and the Okpo Shipyard of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering with a giant shipyard crane.

Bijindo Beach (비진도해수욕장)

Bijindo Beach is a unique coastal area with the sea on both sides. One side features a sandy white beach, while the other side offers a small pebble beach. Tongyeong Lighthouse Fishing Park is a bridge-shaped fishing facility, conveniently situated near the Donam Tourist Complex in Tongyeong. It was established in 2006 when Tongyeong was selected as a pilot site for the Marine Fishing Park project initiated by Gyeongsangnam-do. Known as an ideal spot for sea fishing, it offers stunning views of the Hallyeo National Marine Park. This location allows visitors to enjoy sea fishing safely without the need to venture far out to sea by boat.

Tongyeong Suryuk Beach (수륙해수욕장)

Tongyeong Suryuk Beach is located on the eastern side of Mireukdo Island in Tongyeong, stretching about 550 meters along the coastline. Various events, including a beach volleyball tournament and a water show, are held every summer.

Maemuldo Island is comprised the three islands Daemaemuldo Island, Somaemuldo Island, and Deungdaedo Island. The best view can be seen from the sea cliffs of Somaemuldo Island and Deungdaedo Island. Somaemuldo Island, whose entire area is no more than 2.51㎢, is a small island but very popular. Daemaemuldo, Hongdo, Deungdaedo, Daegueulbido and Sogueulbido Islands are all scattered around Somaemuldo Island.

Bijindo Island is located 13 kilometers from Tongyeonghang Port. The island's main attraction is the 550-meter-long beach. Due to the unique formation of the island, with the beach appearing to connect two separate islands, it is possible to view both the sunrise and the sunset from the beach. The western side is a sandy beach, while the eastern side is a pebble beach.

Visitors to the island can also enjoy scenic attractions of Hallyeohaesang National Park, including Haegeumgang Island and Sipjaedonggul Cave. Bijindo Island is also a great place to enjoy seafishing or simply relax in the natural beauty.
