Jageunhujinhaebyeon Beach, situated adjacent to Samcheokhaebyeon Beach, provides a serene and picturesque setting. Additionally, the Hujin Breakwater, located right beside the beach, is an ideal spot for fishing enthusiasts. Eodal Port (어달항)

Eodal Port is a small port that was founded in 1984, and there are currently 70 boats that use the dock. It's a great place to get a take in the view of the coastal village nestled among the mountain foothills and soak up the port city atmosphere. At the port's entrance has signs decorated with fish and fisher, depicting the significance of fishing industry at this port. Recreational fishing is also available at the breakwater or by hopping on a boat.

Eodalhaebyeon Beach (어달해변)

Eodalhaebyeon Beach is located 3-kilometer northeast from Donghae City Hall. It is a small charming beach with a 300-meter-long, and 20- to 30-meter-wide shoreline. It is characterized by fine sand, gentle slopes, and shallow water about 1 meter deep. The beach is one of the many beaches that can be seen while driving along the beach road, Ilchul-ro Road, which connects Mukho Port area to Mangsanghaebyeon Beach.

Hwanseongul Cave (Daei-ri Cave System) (환선굴 (대이리 동굴지대))

Hwanseongul Cave is the largest limestone cave in Asia, formed estimated 530 million years ago. The cafe features fantastic rocks in various shapes, stalagmites, and stalactites. There have been 47 new breeds of animals discovered in Hwanseongul Cave, with four of these being found to only live in this cave. In April 2010, a monorail was installed within the cave to make it more convenient for people to see all the natural habitat.

Daegeumgul Cave - Daei-ri Cave Area (대금굴 (대이리 동굴지대))

Daegeumgul Cave is believed to be as old as Hwanseongul and Gwaneumgul Caves located nearby. The entrance to the cave was exposed during an excavation project, and after a long preparatory period, the cave was opened to the public. This newly opened, well-preserved cave is filled with limestone features such as stalactites, and a considerable amount of water flows through the cave, creating waterfalls, both large and small, along with numerous ponds.

Daejin Beach (대진 해수욕장)

Daejin Beach is located between Eodalhaebyeon Beach and Mangsang Beach. The beach is characterized by shallow waters and gentle waves, making it a popular spot among families with children or beginner surfers. In addition to swimming, the beach is also known for its nearby port, Daejin Port. The port has small boats come and go with their catch and is lined with restaurant that serve fresh seafood. It's also a popular shore fishing site among the locals who enjoy recreational fishing.

Mangsang Beach (망상해변)

Mangsang Beach is sought out by many families and tourists for its beautiful white sand, lush pine forest, shallow waters, and location in a neighborhood full of convenient facilities. Deokangsan Mountain (덕항산)

Deokangsan Mountain is where Hwanseongul Cave is located, and is part of the Samcheok Daei-ri Cave Area, designated as Natural Monument No. 178. Sangmaengbanghaebyeon Beach (상맹방해변)

Sangmaengbanghaebyeon Beach is located 5 kilometers from downtown Samcheok and connected to Maengbanghaebyeon Beach. The pine forest stretched across the beach allows visitors to enjoy forest bathing. Various beach events are held here such as clam collecting contest, bare-hand trout catching contest, and more. For those who enjoy sports, there is a golf practice range nearby. In spring, the nearby canola field blooms with flowers, creating a picturesque background for visitors to enjoy.
