Explanation

This market arose naturally in 1958 when a US military base was established nearby, and merchants and clients who directly exchanged agricultural products flocked to the market. Because it was a market for US troops stationed in Korea, there were many hobby shops, fashion accessories, and international restaurants, giving it an exotic ambience, unlike other traditional marketplaces. It is a market containing a range of groceries, apparel, and general merchandise. Budaejjigae, which was created around the time of war using food waste from United States Forces Korea bases, handcrafted burgers that will satisfy people from all over the world, and Chicago pizza are all famous delicacies.
