Entre ellos, hacia 1909, el Mercado Bunae, que operaba los días terminados en 2 y 7, se convirtió en el más grande, ofreciendo productos agrícolas ganado, pescado y productos regionales, como la tela de ramio y la bebida alcohólica soju de Andong. Este mercado fue fusionado con el Mercado de Sindang en 1963, convirtiéndose en uno que operaba de forma permanente, acompañando el crecimiento demográfico de la población.
