Desde su apertura el 19 de febrero de 2004, el centro ha ocupado un rol fundamental al ayudar a sus visitantes a comprender la tradición de la festividad.

El centro consiste en una sala de exposiciones y una sala de actuaciones. La sala de exposiciones tiene una sala de material expuesto, una sala de vídeo, una galería, y un rincón para actividades y manualidades.
