Cimetière national de Séoul (국립서울현충원)

L’arrière du cimetière national de Séoul est bordé par les mystérieuses crêtes de Dong Jak qui mènent au mont Gong Jak et forment les contreforts du mont Gwan Ak. Sur sa partie avant, le cimetière surplombe les méandres de la rivière Han. Le cimetière national de Séoul se trouve sur une portion de terrain d’une surface d’environ 1 430 000 m². Il abrite les restes de 165 000 martyres et soldats, policiers et forces de réserve morts pour la patrie. La tour commémorative contient les tablettes funéraires de quelque 104 000 soldats disparus dont on n’a jamais retrouvé les corps, de même que les restes de 7 000 soldats inconnus morts pendant la guerre de Corée. Les restes de 54 000 patriotes martyrs ont été enterrés dans le cimetière. Celui-ci est divisé en sections pour les soldats, les officiers de police, les citoyens méritats et les grandes figures du gouvernement provisoire. Le cimetière dispose d’une porte commémorative, d’une tour commémorative, d’une tour de la fontaine Chungseong, d’un terrain sacré, d’une exposition de photographies, d’une salle de projection pour films éducatifs et d’une exposition de reliques. En 1955, le cimetière a été créé en tant que cimetière militaire national, et s’est élevé au statut de cimetière national en 1965. Le nom de l’ancien « bureau d’administration du cimetière national » est devenu le « conseil commémoratif national » en 1996. Chaque année au 6 juin, des cérémonies commémoratives sont organisées au cimetière national de Séoul.

Parc de l'histoire Seosomun (서소문역사공원)

La zone de la porte Seosomun était auparavant un site de persécution durant le 19ème siècle qui a été transformé en parc. De nombreux catholique furent persécutés sur place faisant de ce site un site sacré pour les catholiques en Corée.

La porte Seosomun constitue un passage vers le marché Chilpae près de la porte Namdaemun.

Le 15 mai 1999 une tour commémorative fut inauguré au centre du parc pour commémorer les martyrs. En 2013, le district Jung-gu a également inauguré le Musée d'Histoire Seosumun.

Après son ouverture en 1992, le parc avec ses étangs et sa vaste étendue de gazon est devenu un lieu de repos très apprécié. Le parc se compose de saules et de bancs sur une vaste étendue de gazon avec en son centre un étang ; les jours où le vent souffle le spectacle de ces longues feuilles de saules tourbillonnantes est magnifique. De plus l’étang avec ses canards et ses divers oiseaux donne une impression de nature plus prononcée. Des tables et des bancs ont également été installé pour les pique-niqueurs. Ce parc est aussi un lieu qui a son histoire. Lors des « Guerres d’Invasions » ce fut l’emplacement d’une base logistique et durant la Guerre de Corée les troupes américaines y installèrent leur quartier général et le parc servit de terrain de golf. En en faisant un parc ce lieu est devenu un lieu public pour la première fois. En 2005 s’ouvrira à proximité du parc un musée qui de par sa taille sera l’un des plus grand au monde.

Ce concert est intitulé ‘2018 PyeongChang K-pop Festival’. Le concert permettra de voir des groupes comme SHINee, Beast, Wonder Girls, etc tout en proposant diverses activités autour de la Hallyu.

Gocheok Sky Dome (고척 스카이돔)

Gocheok Sky Dome est le premier stade de baseball en forme de dome construit en Corée. Inauguré en 2015, le stade accueille de nombreux événement en dehors des matchs de baseball. Il est doté d'une capacité de 16 784 places.
