Le village folklorique de Corée est sans doute l'une des meilleures attractions culturelles en Corée. Il abrite notamment le festival the '2018 Welcome to Joseon' entre le 7 avril et le 24 juin 2018. C'est le principal festival du printemps proposé par le village, cette année de nouvelles parades ont été ajoutées pour revivre l'époque de Joseon via différents épisodes. 

Avec un record d'un million de vue sur le clou du spectacle mettant en scène le 'mendiant aux fleurs', le 'marchand', et 'gisaeng,' et d'autres personnages de 'Joseon Characters Audition 3', c'est un total de 22 acteurs qui pourront être vus durant l'événement, un véritable voyage dans le temps

Les visiteurs peuvent aussi participer à des activités pratiques telles que l'expérience du costume traditionnel, la confection d'objets datant de l'époque Joseon comme le mapae (l'ancêtre de la carte de transport), le hopae (l'ancêtre de la carte d'identité), mais aussi de poches d'arômes, etc.

La porte nord de la Forteresse Hwaseong, il sert également de l'entrée principale. «Jangan» désigne le capital, et il en porte la signification d'être une capitale secondaire. Janganmun Gate est considérée comme la porte principale, car c'est dans cette direction que le roi viendrait à l'arrivée de Hanyang, la capitale. Il est intéressant de noter que cette porte est plus grande que la porte Sungryemun à Séoul.
