Gyodae Guesthouse is located near Seoul Nat’l Univ. of Education Station on Subway Lines 2 & 3. As a guesthouse in an apartment building, it's a popular choice for long-term stay among foreign students studying in Korea. The guesthouse is an ordinary home, so guests can feel at home during their stay. There are only two rooms, but the guesthouse owner treats her guests like family. For this reason, she has many repeat customers. Each of the rooms is furnished with a desk and a computer for student guests, and there are many plants in the living room. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, television, and sofa are shared among the guests. Laundry service is provided for free. Guests are asked not to stay out too late because the guesthouse is located in an apartment complex.

Le marché ancien de Hwanghak-dong est le principal marché des articles d’occasion à Séoul. Il est également connu comme "le marché monstre” ou "le marché total”
Il a commencé à se développer et grandir dès 1950 et il compte maintenant approximativement 1 000 magasins sur un espace s’étendant derrière les appartements Samil entre les numéros 13 et 17, Cheonggyecheon 8-ga dans Jung-gu à Séoul.

Le marché de Hwanghak-dong est divisé en 5 sections de magasins et d’échoppes dans les rues qui vendent des antiquités, de l’électroménager et des machines. Chaque magasin regorge d’antiquités difficile à trouver ailleurs - meule, mortier, chaudronnier, vieux appareils photo, phonographes, pipes, argent, boussoles et divers appareils électroménagers comme des téléviseurs et des réfrigérateurs. Beaucoup de visiteurs étrangers viennent au marché pour y trouver des articles rares et peu communs qu'ils ne peuvent trouver ailleurs à Séoul.

Les prix sont en général de 20 à 30% plus bas que le prix normal, mais vous pouvez encore négocier avec les marchands. Attention aux surenchères peu raisonnables.

Heures d’ouverture
Ouverts d'une façon générale de 8 heure à 18h 30, toute l'année pour la plupart (certains peuvent fermer le dimanche).

Centre de l' Education et de la Culture de Séoul (서울교육문화회관 대극장)

Le centre de l’éducation et de la culture de Séoul est situé à Yangjae-dong, dans le district de Seocho-gu. La nature des alentours est très jolie et l’air y est pur.

Le centre a 11 étages et un sous-sol. Il est équipé d’une salle de spectacle ayant une capacité de 1.000 places, d’un centre culturel, d’une galerie d’art, d’un centre d’éducation et d’un centre sportif.

A l’extérieur se trouvent un espace pelouse, un parc avec des sculptures, un Drive-in Theater (cinéma en plein air) etc.

La salle de spectacle principale peut présenter une variété de représentations tel que du théâtre, de la danse, du cinéma, de l’opéra, des comédies musicales ou autres. Il y a aussi fréquemment des spectacles pour enfants. Et parfois, la salle est utilisée comme une scène internationale tel que pour le spectacle de danse en 1991 de la compagnie de ballet russe de Leningrad.
Le centre culturel a des espaces invités et des salles de conférences, souvent utilisés pour des séminaires.
Le centre sportif a une salle intérieure, une piscine, un health club et une salle d’aérobic, un bowling et un espace golf. Les personnes étant sur place peuvent bénéficier de ces commodités.
La touche originale est le Drive-in Theater appelé “Karma 21”: il peut accueillir 250.000 voitures, l’entrée pour chaque voiture est de 15.000 won. En général, il passe les dernières sorties. Il est situé dans le parc de “Yangjae People’s Grove” qui vente la propreté de son environnement.

Enfin, voici l’endroit parfait pour se relaxer et se faire plaisir en regardant un film en respirant l’air frais.
