Le site des Tombes Donggureung, signifiant « les neuf tombes de l’est », est le mausolée des rois du début de la Dynastie Joseon. Il s’y trouve neuf tombeaux royaux et dix-sept caveaux, dont le tombeau de Taejo Yi Seonggye, le roi fondateur de la dynastie de Joseon (règne de 1335 à 1408).
