Située à Yeongok-myeon (Dongdeok-ri), la plage Yeongok s'étend sur plus de 700 mètres. Elle est entourée d’une luxuriante forêt de pins. Elle constitue un endroit idéal pour faire du camping. Les amateurs de pêche peuvent aussi s’exercer dans le ruisseau Yeongokcheon qui se trouve en amonts de la rivière Sogeumgang. On peut également y trouver une variété de restaurants le long du ruisseau proposant de délicieuses cuisines coréennes. Dongdeok-ri est également connue pour sa gare et son marché traditionnel. La plage et ses environs sont parfaits pour les randonnées et la natation. On peut apercevoir des navires de commerce entre Hamgyeong et Gyeongsang.

Situé à Yongpyeong (région Gangwon-do), Yongpyong Resort désigne une station de ski qui ouvre généralement de la mi-novembre jusque mars. Situé au pied du mont Balwangsan (1,456m), Yongpyong Resort dispose en moyenne de 250cm de neige sur ses pistes ce qui en fait un spot idéal pour le ski. Ouvert en 1975, Il s'agit d'un des tous premiers resort du genre en Corée. Situé à environ 215km de Séoul, il faut compter environ 2h pour faire le trajet entre la capitale et le resort.
Téléphérique du mont Balwang-san (발왕산 관광케이블카)

Ce téléphérique propose une centaine de cabines de 8 passagers pour découvrir les alentours du mont Balwangsan sur un parcours de 7,4km. Le trajet du téléphérique démarre depuis la plateforme Dragon Plaza pour atteindre la plateforme Dragon Castle au sommet du mont Balwangsan. Le trajet est le plus long du genre en Corée. Il faut compter environ 18 minutes pour réaliser ce trajet qui culmine à 1458 mètres d'altitude. Il est à noter que le téléphérique peut être hors service en fonction des conditions climatiques.
