La plage de Gyeongpo est un banc de sable situé entre le lac Gyeongpoho et l’océan, la plage s’étend sur 6 km. Chaque année au 31 décembre la ville de Gangneung organise son festival annuel pour célébrer le lever du soleil du 1er janvier et se souhaiter la bonne année dans un magnifique environnement.
