Le parc abrite également des équipements de sports, comme par exemple des terrains de badminton et le stade de Geumgang. Le Festival national des sources d'eau chaude de Corée se déroule tous les ans à Asan.
Il y a 1300 ans, les sources d'eau chaude de Asan étaient utilisées par les familles royales durant leurs vacances. Il s'agit des plus vielles sources thermales de Corée.
Cet évènement a lieu près de la station Onyang Oncheon et près des sources thermales de Dogo et Asan. Les visiteurs pourront également participer à diverses activités en lien avec la culture des eaux thermales en Corée.
