The Chocolate Museum in Seogwipo, Jeju is the second largest chocolate museum in the world (the largest being the Cologne Chocolate Museum in Germany). Built using volcanic scoria unique to Jeju, the museum looks like an ancient castle and seems to complement the surrounding natural environment. The front yard measures 5,000 meters squared and is surrounded by a low-lying fence made of rough stones, giving even passerbyers a great view of the museum's front garden .
At the entrance to the museum, a whimsical statue of a cacao god greets visitors. The museum has three floors and houses a gallery, a theater, a café, a workshop, and a chocolate store. The most popular exhibits are the gallery with various exhibits on chocolate and the workshop showing the chocolate-making process. The chocolate produced at the museum is available for both sampling and purchase. In addition, the 'Collection Square' features a wide array of chocolate cases and other items that Mr. Han Ye-seok, the museum director, has collected from around the world.
In the 'Chateâu Chocolat: Real Chocolate Place' chocolate shop at the Chocolate Museum, visitors can get a taste of hand-made chocolates. The Chateâu Chocolat is a retail chocolate chain with franchises in Gyeongbokgung, Apgujeong, Itaewon, and Changdeokgung in Seoul, and Yangyang and Somdari in Gangwon-do.

Hwasun Golden Sand Beach is surrounded by beautiful nature. It is close to Sanbangsan Mountain and the Yongmeori Coastline, and the islands of Hyeongjedo, Marado, and Gapado are off the coast to the southwest. On one side of the beach is a fresh water spring where people can enjoy a freshwater bath.

The beach is located in Hwasun-ri in Andeok-myeon, which is easily accessible and has accommodations, shops, and restaurants.

Jeju Art Park opened in October 1987 in a large primeval forest. The park features around 160 sculptures made by 109 famous Korean artists in the theme of "Meeting of Nature, Art, and People." Each of the sculptures is set to harmonize with the beautiful natural surroundings. The park also features various facilities to enjoy, such as art events, an exhibition hall, and an observation deck with views of Hallasan Mountain and Marado Island, the southernmost land of Korea.

Located in Hwasun-ri, Seogwipo-si, Marine Park is the first and only national dolphin experience site. It has a trick art photo zone on the basement level, an indoor dolphin experience site on the first floor, and a children’s aquarium that exhibits 100 species of fish local to the Jeju region on the second floor. Activity programs include feeding dolphins, experience being a dolphin trainer, dolphin swimming and snorkeling, diving with dolphins and prenatal education with dolphins. Marine Park also participates in ocean animal transportation, as well as rescue and leading trainer business.

Andeokgyegok Valley in Gamsan-ri Village is located 2 kilometers east of Hwasun-ri. Nandreubadang specializes in Jeju black pork, which offers soft yet chewy meat and a light taste compared to regular pork. Customers can taste grilled black pork while admiring the fantastic ocean view; many people visit this restaurant just for the sake of the meat, despite the lack of famous tourist attractions nearby. For a basic serving of 2 persons, 600 grams of Jeju black pork is served with red-banded lobster soybean paste jjigae. Steamed eggs and corn cheese served outside the meat grill are also delightful delicacies. They also sell prawns that can be grilled with black pork and the seasonal conch skewers. Marado Island is the southernmost island in Korea and features one seemingly endless plain of waving grass for a unique landscape. The island is quite small, at only 300 ㎡, and is home to approximately 80 people in 30 families. The island is famous for sea fishing, and is accessible via ferry from Museulpo Port.

Marado Island first became inhabited in 1883, when three families began living there. At first they lived off the food growing there, but once the food became scarce, they burned the forests to create fields for farming. It was said that all the snakes and frogs died in that fire, and thus no snakes and frogs are found in Marado Island even until now.
