Located in Bongseong-ri, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Saebyeol Oreum (called Hyoseongak) is a parasitic volcano cone set alone that looks like a lonely star (Saetbyeol in Korean) in the night sky, giving this volcano cone its name. Based on the highest south peak, small peaks continue in the northwest direction, forming an oval-shape. The oreum is a mid-sized oreum among 360 oreums on Jeju Island and it features a stunning view from the peak of the beautiful ridges connecting to one another.

Mankind tends to only remember the heroes of civilization. Jeju 4.3 Peace Park was created to remember those who fell protecting their homeland during the Jeju uprising which broke out on April 3, 1948. The park is the symbol of reconciliation and peace, and seeks to open a new chapter of life.

The development project of Jeju 4.3 Peace Park was a result of the reparations for the victims of the Jeju uprising. The 4.3 Special law was promulgated in the year 2000, and the following steps proceeded: property acquisition for the park, master plan of the park establishment, design competitions for the park, construction, exhibits and installations. It finally opened to the public on March 28, 2008.

Da Vinci Museum, located in Seogwipo-si on Jeju Island is the only museum that has the Da Vinci License in Korea. The museum offers visitors a chance to experience a wide variety of activities and hands-on programs. When you think of Leonardo Da Vinci, a few things that come to mind are the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper. However, one of the greatest masterpieces in his life is the Codex, a collection of his writings. Over 7,000 pages of the Codex, A.K.A. a notebook of secrets, survives today, and the museum displays over 200 works created and inspired based on the writings in the Codex. The museum houses information about the life and times of Leonardo Davinci, a superb scientist, anatomist, and inventor.
