Jeonju Hanok Garden in Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeollabuk-do, is a guesthouse combining traditional hanok charm with modern comfort. All guestrooms have a modern bathroom and toilet and a toenmaru wooden porch, while two rooms (Hope and Faith) have an additional inner floors attached to it. The room interiors have exposed wooden beams and hanji-covered walls and doors. From any room, guests enjoy a view of the beautiful yard with its jangdokdae jar store, flower pots and young pine trees.

The Gangam Calligraphy Museum (est. 1995) in Jeonju Hanok Village has on display over 1,000 works from famous artists such as Kim Jeong-hee (1786-1856, calligrapher, painter, & scholar), Lee Sam-man (1770-1847, calligrapher), Kim Hong-do (1745-?, artist), and Jeong Yak-yong (1762-1836, scholar). This museum also houses a seminar room for calligraphy-related events and educational programs.

Gyodongsallae Hanok stands close to the Namcheongyo Bridge over the Jeonjucheon Stream in Wansan-gu, Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do. The sarangchae (men’s house), anchae (women’s house) and an outbuilding provide a total of 10 guestrooms - some traditional ondol-heated rooms, some rooms with beds and one attic room. Sky is a guesthouse located in an alley next to the Jeonju Hanok Village Parking Lot. The house was built in 1930 and remodeled in 2014. It was originally a Japanese-style house, but the original building was completely demolished and a traditional Korean house was built in its place. The sheets and blankets in all the guestrooms are embroidered by the owner of the guesthouse. Her embroidery skills make some of the guests choose to stay at this guesthouse since they can learn the trade from her. She offers an embroidery class for such guests for only KRW 4,000 per person, and only 5 people are allowed in the class. If you want, you can also play the traditional Korean game called "yutnori" for free.

Jeonjuhyanggyo is a local Confucian school that was established during the Joseon dynasty (1392-1910) and is a designated Historic Treasure. This was a national education center during the Joseon period. The school was originally located at the Gyeonggijeon Shrine site, but was relocated in 1603. The mortuary tablets of seven Chinese Confucian scholars and 18 Korean scholars are enshrined in the main building of Daeseongjeon Hall.

Jaman Mural Village (자만벽화마을)

Jaman Mural Village is located in the ridge between Omokdae and Imokdae along the foot of Seungamsan Mountain’s Jungbawi Rock. Jeonju Hanok Village is also visible from the wide street. Although it is a fairly steep walk up to Jaman Village, visitors will be able to enjoy colorful murals painted on the buildings and walls along the way.

Jaman Mural Village is located on a hillside across the road from Jeonju Hanok Village. The village was formed by Korean war refugees resettling where they could, and remained as a small village interlaced by narrow pathways until 2012. At that point, the village was enlivened with over 40 murals and became popular for photographs. Many of the houses have been converted into cafes, guesthouses, and restaurants.

Namcheongyo Bridge is the main bridge to the entrance of Jeonju Hanok Village. Through "Jeonju Namcheongyo Luxury Project," the area went through renovation strengthening infrastructure and adding Cheongyeonru Pavilion to the bridge. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the area from the hanok pavilion or rest from the heat.

Jeonju Nambu Traditional Market opened as a regular public market in 1905 at the site of the Joseon-era Nammunbakk Market, located just outside the Southern gate to the city. Currently the market is comprised of about 800 stores with 1,200 workers selling vegetables, fruits, food, dried fish, furniture, silk goods, and general goods.

The market was revitalized with the creation of the Youth Market, located in the previously empty shops on the second floor of 6-dong. An influx of young shopkeepers and entrepreneurs has given the marketplace an exciting vibe like that found in Hongdae or Samcheong-dong.

The night market held on Fridays and Saturdays also draws in many visitors with a multitude of delicious treats, ranging from traditional dishes such as nokdujeon (mung bean pancake) to fusion treats like bibimbap served in rice paper like a spring roll.
