There are two markets in the Yongmun area: the permanent Yongmun Millennium Market and the Yongmun Traditional Market, the latter of which opens on dates ending in 5 and 10. Boasting around 200 stalls, this 5-Day market is conveniently situated right in front of Yongmun Station on the Gyeonguijungang Line. It offers a variety of items including handmade products, clothes, and snacks like twisted donuts and fried whole chicken, as well as vegetables and fruits. The market is bustling with food, sights to see, and entertainment. Visitors are invited to come and experience the vibes of a traditional Korean market.

Baegunbong (alt. 940m) is a sharp pointed peak that sits on the border between Yangpyeong-eup and Okcheon-myeon in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Province. It is the highest of the peaks along the southern ridge of Yongmunsan Mountain (alt. 1,157m). The two most popular hiking trails along Baegunbong start at Yeonsu-ri in Yongmun-myeon and offer a relatively short hike to the summit.

Seolmaejae Recreational Forest is located around Seolmaejae Pass, named for the apricot blossoms ('mae') that would bloom in the snow ('seol')-filled pass ('jae'). The forest is only an hour's drive out of Seoul, making it easily accessible for people looking to escape the city. The forest offers sections of pine trees, maple trees, royal azalea, and more beautiful flora, all visible along the various hiking paths. The park also connects with Yumyeongsan and Yongmunsan Mountains, and is close to Yongcheongyegok and Yumyeongsan Valleys.

Yongmunsan Recreational Forest offers log cabins, camping sites, a multipurpose playground, walking paths, and hiking trails. The forest offers a great view of downtown Yangpyeong and blends well with the surrounding landscape. The hiking trail leading to Baegunbong Peak (940 meters) is recognized as one of the best trails in the area.

There are several hiking trails, all of which are relatively easy to walk on, and continuous work is underway to improve the trails. The forest is a popular destination in Yangpyeong and a treasure house of nature's beauty where visitors can observe diverse plants all year round.

Approximately 100m up from the valley's entrance is Hamwanghyeol Cave, associated with the legend of Hamwang, a fierce warlord from the Goryeo dynasty.
