Taejongdae Cliffed Coast was formed by many layers of rock being forced together beneath a lake during the Cretaceous period, and then worn away over time by the sea. The coast features many geological formations, including sea caves and uniquely shaped rocks. Visitors can enjoy walking on the forested paths, or take the train course to easily access Taejongdae Observatory and Yeongdo Coastal Culture Space.

Opened on June 10, 1994, the Busan Marine Natural History Museum is the first and largest museum of its kind in Korea. The museum features some 25,000 marine specimens from over 100 countries around the world, including rare living species and those native to Korea. Busan Gamcheon Culture Village (부산 감천문화마을)

Yeongdo Lighthouse (영도 등대)

Yeongdo Lighthouse, first lit in 1906, stands at Taejongdae Park. It houses a maritime library, galleries, an observatory, and a café. From the observatory, on clear days, you can even see as far as the Japanese island of Tsushima Island. At the base of the lighthouse, there's a sculpture of a woman turned into stone, waiting for her husband who went out to sea. You can reach it by walking from Taejongdae Park or taking the Taejongdae Danubi Train.
