Seoul Drum Festival est un festival de percussions à Séoul. Il fait intervenir des percussionnistes professionnels et amateurs du monde entier qui se rassemblent pour se produire lors de grands spectalces et ce dans de nombreux genres musicaux. Le festival a été inauguré en 1999 et se déroule près d'une semaine à Nodeulseom dans la capitale. Les spectacles seront également diffusés sur la plateforme Youtube en direct.

Le Gymnase de Jangchun est le premier gymnase dôme de Corée, ouvert depuis le 1er Février 1963. Il accueille plusieurs évènements athlétiques comme des compétitions de basket, de volley et de handball ainsi que des combats de boxe, catch et ssireum (lutte traditionnelle coréenne). Il présente qui plus est d’autres spectacles et évènements culturels tels que des compétitions internationales, des concerts et du madangnori. Le Club de Fitness Jangchun, dont les locaux sont situés au sein du bâtiment, propose des abonnements au mois.

Situé dans l'arrondissement de Iui-dong, Yeongtong-gu, le musée de Suwon est réparti sur trois étages et est consacré essentiellement à l'Histoire de Suwon et à la calligraphie en Corée.
Le musée propose notamment une reproduction de la sècne du marché de Yeongdong durant les années 1960.
Le musée abrite également quelques-unes des oeuvres les plus remarquables concernant la calligraphie en Corée.

Located right across from Olympic Park in Seoul, Cheonghaejin presents a wonderful open view of the park.
Everybody can appreciate Cheonghaejin’s creative seafood recipes that are moderately hot and spicy yet delicious.
Especially recommended is the Sannakji Bulgogi (octopus marinated in hot and sweet sauce), which brings guests to another joy of savoring fresh octopus with different sorts of vegetables.
What is even more heavenly is the fried rice served after.

Parc Jangchungdan (장충단 공원)

Le parc de Jangchungdan se trouve au pied Nord-Est du mont Namsan. Le 20 août 1895, l’impératrice Myeongseong fut assassinée par des soldats japonais dans le palais de Gyeongbok, et de nombreux soldats comme Gyeongjik (I) et Hong Gyehun moururent alors qu’ils essayaient de retenir les intrus. L’empereur Gojong fit bâtir le sanctuaire de Jangchungdan (à l’emplacement actuel de la guesthosue Shilla hotel) en novembre 1900 à la mémoire de ces soldats. Le sanctuaire fut détruit durant la guerre de Corée et le site a été rénové pour en faire un parc en 1919.
Le 22 septembre 1984, le parc de Jangchungdan a été désigné 374ème parc de voisinage de Corée, et une partie du parc a été intégré au parc de Namsan. La zone restante a conservé le nom de « Parc de Jangchungdan » et abrite toujours des biens culturels tels que la Pierre Commémorative de Jangchungdan, Supyogyo, Seungjeongjeon, Gwanseongmyo, and Waryongmyo. Le parc est considéré comme un haut lieu du patriotisme, car on y trouve la pierre commémorative du mouvement d’indépendance coréen de 1919 ainsi que d’autres monuments dédiés à des personnalités telles que Han Yongun, Yu Gwansun et Gim Yonghwan qui ont combattu pour l’indépendance de la nation.
