Deungdaeseom Island, originally called Haeguemdo Island, is known for the lighthouse and beautiful landscape. In 2002, the island was renamed Deungdaedo Island. Somaemuldo Island Lighthouse built in 1917 as an unmanned lighthouse transformed into a manned lighthouse in 1940.
