Imcheonggak House is the largest remaining household from the Joseon dynasty, holding a history of over 500 years. The house was built for one aristocratic family’s love of the scenic beauty in the surrounding area. It was originally built with a total of 99 kan (traditional measurement of space between pillars) but only 70 remain. The most famous structure on this property is the annexed pavilion, Gunjajeong. An autograph of the famous Confucian scholar Lee Hwang can be found hanging outside the pavilion.

Woryeonggyo Bridge was named in reference to the submerged Woryeongdae Observatory and the names of nearby areas Wolgok-myeon and Eumdamgol. The view of Woryeonggyo Bridge with the moon's reflection in the Nakdonggang River is a beautiful sight. Woryeonggyo Bridge harbors a tragic yet beautiful legend about a wife who made a pair of mituri (hemp shoes) out of her hair in heartfelt yearning and condolence for her late husband. In commemoration of her pure and noble love, the bridge was designed in the style of mituri.

Andongho Lake (안동호)

Known as a popular fishing spot and recreation site, Andongho Lake is an man-made lake created by obstructing the upper stream of the Nakdonggang River as part of the government’s Four Major Rivers Restoration Project. Andong Dam is the second largest dam in Korea, following Soyanggang Dam. The x_height of the dam is 83 meters and the length is 612 meters.

The landscape surrounding Andongho Lake is nothing short of magnificent. There is a dock for boats on the lake, which is also popular as a fishing destination. Bass caught here are especially strong and tasty. An international bass fishing tournament is held here every year. Andong Dam is a multipurpose dam on the Nakdonggang River. The dam was constructed to prevent flood damage to the downstream region and to procure water for agricultural, industrial, and residential purposes. Construction of the dam completed in 1976 with a length of 612 meters. x_height of 83 meters and holds 1.2 billion tons of water. Andongho Lake formed by the dam is a popular fishing location.

Grasswon Park (그라스원)

Grasswon Park is located on the banks of the Nakdonggang River as it cuts through downtown Andong. The park, north of Yeonggadaegyo Bridge, features walking trails thorugh a variety of flowers and grasses. The park is attractive all year round, but is especially popular in fall when the muhly grass turns the whole field into a lovely shade of pink. The walking and bicycle paths also connect with Baekjo Park to the south of the bridge, making this the perfect place to enjoy the pure environment of the Nakdonggang River.

Oryuheon, near Lake Imha in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, is a 400-year-old Joseon period house and a national folk cultural asset. The delicate window and screen muntins and parquet floors in the sarangchae (men’s quarters) and daemunchae (gate house) exemplify the magnificence of yangban houses of the 1600s. The guestroom is in an annex building and consists of a large sleeping room, a daecheongmaru living room, and a bathroom/toilet. Cooking is not allowed, but a free Korean breakfast is provided, and barbecues can also be arranged. Nearby are Imhaho Water Leisure Camp, Manhyujeong Pavilion, and Hahoe Village.

Nakgangmulgil Park (낙강물길공원)

Nakgangmulgil Park, called the Giverny of Korea, is a small waterside park located near Andong Dam. Sinse-dong Mural Village (신세동 벽화마을)

Sinse-dong Mural Village is located in Dongmun-dong, Andong.
