Idong Galbi is a famous term for Koreans, representing the delicious hanu (Korean beef) short ribs that have been made with high quality meat and marinade. Nowadays, people can see signboards advertising Idong Galbi throughout Korea; however, the dish originated from Idong-myeon in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Idong Galbi Village began with two stores in the early 1960s. They became famous and many more restaurants began to serve this local specialty.

Sambuyeonpokpo Falls, among the nine scenic spots in Cheorwon, is a three-tiered waterfall standing at approximately 20 meters high, situated in the granite area of Myeongseongsan Mountain. This natural wonder was formed by water flowing over an extended period subsequent to the exposure of granite intrusion from the Mesozoic Cretaceous period, estimated to be around 110 million years ago. The name "Sambuyeon" originates from the distinctive three bends in the water stream and the lower part of the waterfall's resemblance to a cauldron.

The Pocheon Baegungyegok Valley Dongjanggun Festival is held in the area of Doridol Village, famous for I-dong galbi (ribs) and I-dong makgeolli (rice wine). During the festival, visitors can enjoy a vareity of tasty foods and fun hands-on winter experiences. Popular programs include ice fishing and sledding.

Gungmangbong Recreational Forest is situated to the west of Sillobong Peak and Gukmangbong Peak. Bidulginangpokpo Falls, Natural Monument No. 537, is located within a small valley. The waterfall is surrounded by grand columnar joints. The landscape appears quite mysterious and serene, earning it a spot as a poplar filming site for historical dramas. The falls gets it's name ("Pigeon Falls" in Korean) from the story of many wild pigeons nesting in the caves around the waterfall. Other say the name comes from the area's shape. During heavy rainfall, the road to the waterfall is closed, so checking the weather before visiting is recommended.

Their mul makguksu features buckwheat noodles in a deep and cool broth, delivering a rich flavor without being overwhelming. The noodles are both chewy and tender, striking a perfect balance. The Ildong Jaeil Oncheon is situated in the hot springs region of Pocheon-gun. Many visitors from the Seoul and Gyeongin areas come for the high-quality water that comes from the hot springs located 800~1000 meters underground.

Visitors to the Ildong hot springs region also enjoy the famous Idong galbi (grilled meat), visit the nearby Baekunsan, Gwangdeoksan, Cheonggyesan, and Unaksan Mountain ranges and also visit Nasan Golf Course and Ildong Lake.

The Ildong Jaeil Oncheon’s hot springs water are known to be effective in treating rheumatism, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, neuralgia, women’s diseases, arthritis, and various skin ailments.

Seungilgyo Bridge (승일교)

Seungilgyo Bridge is unique in that it was jointly built by South and North Korea. The construction began when the land belonged to North Korea, but after the Armstice Agreement the land was given to the South, who then complete the bridge. The bridge was designated as a Registerd Cultural Property No. 26 on May 31, 2002.

This 3.6-km trail in the Hantangang River UNESCO Global Geopark is filled with awe-inspiring cliffs and various size rocks. Walking alongside the cliff, the world unfolds thrillingly beneath your feet. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes one way, and on weekends, shuttle buses run between the two entrances, so there's no need to return to the starting point. As you traverse this exhilarating path, you might imagine the "Hangout with Yoo" team walking with their flags as if participating in a team-building exercise.
