High1 Haneulgil Trekking trails were created using the Baegunsan Mountain hiking trail and roads used by coal miners in the past. The trekking trails consist of Mureungdowongil, Untangodogil, and Gowonsupgil trails. The trails are easy enough even for children to hike up. Once visitors reach the top, they can get down conveniently on the Sky1340 mountain gondola.

The ski resort, one of the most popular parts of the High1 complex, offers a 4.2 kilometer-long slope for beginners that runs from the summit of Jijangsan Mountain (altitude 1,345 meters). Romy Zian Garden is a 330 ㎡ size garden located at Hwabong Peak in Gariwangsan Mountain. President Son of LBest built this garden in 2011 for his ill wife. Zian was a nickname for President Son and Romy was a nickname for his wife, as for the name of the garden Romy Zian. In 2017, the garden was open to public to provide a space to spread warm consolation and understand. The garden is full of symbols that represents the life cycle including birth (green), youth (red), and adult (black). Visitors can explore various sections of the garden as well as rest at a cafe or even spend a night at one of the accommodations.

Memilchon Makguksu gained public attention for its delicious gondeure bap (thistle rice) and makguksu (buckwheat noodles) after appearing in the television show "Wednesday Food Talk." The restaurant has even earned patents for their original recipes of certain dishes. The most popular menu item is Gondeure Set Menu, which includes a thistle hot pot rice served along with a variety of side dishes. The buckwheat noodles served at this restaurant offers a refreshing taste that can only be encountered in Gangwon. The restaurant may run out of ingredients and close early during vacation season, so visitors are advised to call and check for availability in advance. Drivers can use the public parking lot across from the restaurant.

Bunjuryeong Wildflower Trekking (분주령야생화 트레킹)

Bunjuryeong Wildflower Trekking is a trekking course that extends from Geumdaebong Peak in Taebaek's Daedeoksan Mountain to the source of the Hangang River, Geomnyongso Spring. The trekking section (6.9 km) from Dumundongjae Pass to Bunjuryeong Pass is renowned as a paradise for wildflowers and wildlife, including natural monuments like the flying squirrel and ichneumon wasp. Visitors can access this trekking course by making a reservation in advance.

Jeongseon Railbike (정선레일바이크)

Jeongseon Railbike was the first railbike location to open in Korea. Offering both two- and four-person bikes, riders depart from Gujeol Station and travel 7.2 kilometers along an abandoned railway track to Auraji Station. The tracks pass along the clean river, through a forest, and through old train tunnels decorated with vibrant lights.

The track of Jeongseon Railbike is relatively flat, making it easy for all riders to enjoy the passing scenery in comfort. The full track takes about 30~40 minutes to complete. After arriving, visitors can hop aboard the train that takes riders back to Gujeol Station. There are cafes at Gujeol and Auraji Stations designed to look like a grasshopper and a fish, respectively. These train cafes make for great photos! The Ant Pension also is fun, designed just like an ant.
