El Sitio Histórico de Dasan se localiza en el pueblo natal de Jeong Yak-yong (1762-1836), un sabio de la antigua dinastía de Joseon. Mientras creció en la aldea, Dasan (su seudónimo) criticó la corrupción e intentó reformar las instituciones. Durante su largo exilio, Dasan redactó Mongminsimseo (un libro sobre cómo gobernar al pueblo) y Gyeongseyupo (un libro sobre cómo reformar las políticas de tierra, estabilizar la vida de la gente, y fortalecer la nación y la armada), entre otros. Hoy, Dasan es reconocido como uno de los grandes sabios de la escuela Silhak (escuela de confucionismo) de finales de la dinastía Joseon.

En este sitio, tanto el lugar de nacimiento de Dasan, Yeoyudang, la tumba como las obras están bien preservadas.
