El Parque Conmemorativo de Heo Gyun y Heo Nanseolheon fue creado para honrar a los hermanos Heo: Gyun, autor de La historia de Hong Gildong (una novela del siglo XVII, la primera de su tipo escrita en alfabeto coreano Hangeul), y Nanseolheon, una de las escritoras más valoradas de Corea.
