The Hanok Inn is a hotel-class traditional guesthouse in Sansu-dong, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, which consists of 4 separate buildings. The sarangchae - a two-story hanok with a hipped roof - contains a double room and a large family room, finished with red clay and hanji paper; both rooms have toilets. The annex building is a one-storey gable-roofed hanok with a raised wooden patio where guests can drink tea and relax. In the main building there’s a hanok experience room and a friendly cafe-restaurant where breakfast is served. The hanok’s back gate gives onto an alley leading to Hwangnidan-gil, Cheomseongdae Observatory, and the Daereungwon tomb complex; this alley is a favorite photo spot.

Como tomar buenas fotos se está convirtiendo en una tendencia entre los jóvenes en Corea, los lugares que ofrecen fondos para imágenes llamativas y pintorescas están volviéndose muy populares. Uno de ellos es el Instituto de Investigación Forestal de Gyeongsangbuk-do. La zona más buscada para las fotografías dentro de este arboreto era antes el puente de troncos en el Parque Ecológico del Pantano. Sin embargo, el material de construcción del puente ha sido reemplazado recientemente por madera regular, por razones de seguridad. No se decepcione con esto, todavía se pueden tomar impresionantes fotos con el puente sobre el pantano como fondo.

Hay cuatro senderos que tienen al Parque Ecológico del Pantano como centro. Las flores y los árboles de diversas especies crean una escena diferente a lo largo de cada trayecto, ofreciendo muchas oportunidades para fotos excepcionales. Incluso un banco ordinario puede merecer algunas. Tomarse una foto sentado en el banco, con las hojas caducas cubriéndolo todo, le transmitirá un toque de color y naturaleza a la imagen capturada.

Calle Hwangnidan-gil de Gyeongju (경주 황리단길)

La Calle Hwangnidan-gil fue conocida originalmente como "Hwangnam Keungil", cerca de la calle Poseok-ro, barrio de Hwangnam-dong de Gyeongju. Su nombre proviene de la combinación de las calles Hwangnam-dong y Gyeongnidan en Itaewon, Seúl, por lo que vendría a significar "la Calle Gyeongnidan-gil de Hwangnam-dong". La calle alberga numerosos restaurantes, cafeterías, estudios fotográficos y tiendas ubicadas en edificios tradicionales hanok, lo que la ha hecho popular entre las generaciones más jóvenes de Corea. La calle también muestra una estética newtro debido a los edificios antiguos y deteriorados que aún se conservan, construidos durante las décadas de 1960 y 1970. La marca Cheonnyeonae es una de las más emblemáticas de la ciudad de Gyeongju, ya que produce y vende comestibles típicos de la región que son famosos en toda Corea. Suelen llevarse como recuerdos de los viajes. El pan de Gyeongju (gyeongjuppang) es suave y sabroso. Por su parte, el chalborippang (pan de cebada) se produce con este ingredientes, lo mismo que el chalboritteok (pastel de arroz con cebada).

Located in Gyeongju City, Hwangnamgwan is a traditional Korean style accommodation which opened in April 2014. The place looks like a small hanok village with 4 one-story buildings and 2 two-story buildings, constructed on about 5000㎡ of building site. Wadamjung in Cheonwon Village, Gyeongju is a modern traditional Korean guesthouse built in May 2017, with both the features of a traditional Korean house and modern facilities such as air conditioner and bathroom. It has a total of nine guestrooms that can accommodate three to six people, and there is a kitchen that can be shared among the guests.
