일본이 한국의 금융계를 지배하고자 하는 목적으로 세워진 구 인천일본18은행지점은 1890년에 준공되어 그 해 10월에 개점하였으나 은행으로서의 업무가 언제까지 계속되었는지는 기록이 없는 상태이며, 1954년에는 한국흥업은행지점으로 사용되었다. 축조양식은 단층으로 고전적 장식의 절충주의 양식으로 벽체는 조적 위에 몰탈마감으로 기둥부위와 기단부위는 돌로 마감되어 있다. 출입구의 석주 양식은 아주 정교하게 시공되어 있으며 지붕은 목조 트러스 위에 일식기와로 모임지붕 형태를 하고 있어 이국적인 분위기를 자아내고 있다. 현재는 중구 개항장 일대의 근대건축물의 현황을 소개하는 전시관으로 활용되고 있다.

The Beautiful House with the Glow of Sunset, located on Seokmodo Island of Ganghwa-gun, is a pension where you can appreciate the beautiful sunset in a quiet room. All its rooms have an ocean view. The pension opened in 2000, and the last episode of “The Baby Book of GOD,” an entertainment program of MBC, was filmed at this place. The interior of all rooms is made of logs and hardwood furniture to have a snug and cozy atmosphere. You can relax by looking at the sea all day long in a room rich in the smell of trees, or you can appreciate the setting sun on the terrace attached to each room. ‘CASAMIA SUNSET,’ a cafe run by the pension, is also a good place to see the sea and the setting sun. On a clear day, you can enjoy the scenery of the West Sea while sitting leisurely at the table on the outdoor deck of the cafe. The highlight of The Beautiful House with the Glow of Sunset is the outdoor BBQ place with an ocean view and the Sunset Garden. You can have a special experience enjoying BBQ while the sun sets beyond the sea. There is also an indoor BBQ place with a wide table and a fireplace; thus, it is possible to enjoy BBQ regardless of season and weather. The Sunset Garden is a wild flower garden tended by the owner of the pension who planted the seedlings himself. Different wild flowers bloom and fall off each season, and there are fruit trees, too. Handmade fruit syrups made with the fruits picked in the garden such as plum and quince are used for the beverage served in the café, of the side dishes to be eaten with Assorted BBQ. Walking along the marine promenade from the Sunset Garden, you will soon get to the beach and the vast mud flat where you can enjoy the charm of the West Sea which shows a varied landscape by the alternation of ebb and flood. If you carry a tool, you can experience the tideland catching clams and crabs. The Seokmodo Mineral Hot Spring, which opened in January of 2017, is frequented by travelers who like to bathe in hot springs.

La rue du maquereau Dong-Incheon est une allée à côté du Centre de Culture et d’Education d’Incheon pour les Etudiants en face de la station de métro Dongincheon. L’histoire de la rue du maquereau a débuté il y a environ 40 ans, lorsque le premier restaurant specialisé dans le maquereau grillé, « la maison de Inha », ouvrit ses portes dans cette ruelle. En 2002, elle fut baptisée « la rue du maquereau » et un panneau y fut placé à l’entrée en signe de reconnaissance. Actuellement, on y trouve une douzaine de restaurants spécialisés dans le maquereau grillé et chacun d’entre eux a personnalisé son panneau d’accueil de manière différente. Les maquereaux sont importés directement de Nouvelle-Zélande, et chaque restaurant offre à ses clients un goût de poisson unique résultant de différentes méthode de grillage du poisson ainsi que de l’originalité des sauces accompagnant les mets. Les restaurant servent aussi une variété d’appéritifs et de plats d’accompagnements à des prix accessibles.

Situé à Gyoha-eup (Paju, Gyeonggi-do), la cité des livres de Paju est un complexe culturel gigantesque appartenant au Ministère de la Culture, des Sports, et du Tourisme. C’est le siège de 250 maisons d’édition, avec plus de 10 000 employés. Il couvre tout le processus de publication, de la planification à l’impression et la distribution.

L’Asia Publication Culture & Information Center abrite des cafés-librairies, des bouquinistes, des galeries et des restaurants, accueillant différents forums et expositions. Tan Tan Story House, dirigé par Yeowon Media et spécialisé dans les contes pour enfants illustrés, est un centre culturel pour enfants avec une salle de spectacles, une galerie et des cafés-librairies. Les autres attractions notables comprennent Yeolhwadang, Chameleon (point de vente des publications BIR), Darakwon Book Café et Moongongsa Book Café. Le rez-de-chaussée de la Cité des Livres de Paju est rempli de librairies et cafés.

Les visiteurs doivent savoir que certaines boutiques sont fermées les weekends et durant les vacances et sont seulement ouvertes entre 9 et 18 heures.
