Les azalées, forsythias et azalées royales sont en pleine éclosion à la mi-avril sur Yeouiseo-ro (Yunjung-ro), mais le festival est surtout connu pour ses centaines de cerisiers royaux bordant les routes du secteur.

Les routes sont fermées au trafic durant le festival pour que les visiteurs puissent se balader tranquillement dans les tunnels de fleurs formés par les arbres en bord de route. La nuit tombé, les arbres sont illuminés de lumières de couleur pour créer une atmosphère romantique. D'ailleurs, plein d'autres activités comme par exemple exposition d'art, concours de chant, etc sont au programme.
