The Gangseo Marsh Ecological Park is an eco-park located on the Hangang River between the southern side of Banghwadaegyo Bridge and southern side of Haengjudaegyo Bridge. Established in July 2007, the park is partly comprised of low wetlands, freshwater lakes, and various aquatic plants. Eco-trails wind around the park through reed areas, around willow trees, and past the migratory bird observation. At the park, visitors can watch and learn about a variety of migratory birds during summer and winter or join one of the park’s organized eco-education programs.

First built in 132 during the Baekje era (18 BC-AD 660) under King Gaeru's reign, Bukhansanseong Fortress was the northernmost fortress that protected Baekje from Goguryeo's forces. In the year 475, the fortress fell in the hands of Gogyuryeo after a fierce battle. As a result, King Gaeru was killed and Baekje's princess fled to Ungjinseong Fortress. Despite the fortress' collapse and reconstructions, Bukhansanseong Fortress continued to play an important role in protecting the capital city throughout Korea's history of war.

Aram Nuri means "a grand and beautiful world" in Korean. Built with a vision to accomplish Renaissance in culture and art, Goyang Aram Nuri Arts Center houses four theaters, an art gallery and several other facilities.
The Aram Opera House is a four-story, horseshoe-shaped auditorium that holds 1,887 seats. Aram Concert Hall a rectangular hall that holds 1,449 seats. Saerasae Digital Theater is an experimental theater that allows free arrangement of 16 section floor panels that hold up to 300 seats. Norumok Outdoor Theater is an outdoor arena that can hold about 1,000 seats. Aram Art Gallery is an exhibition site with movable partitions. Aram Library manages special data and provides information on arts and culture. Aram Village, located at the entrance of the center, houses family restaurants and cafes. Aram Sun Plaza, home to four streets named Light, Water, Earth and Wind, is open to the general public.

After being used as an oil tank for 41 years, the tanks were reborn into a culture space. The five tanks were transformed into performance halls, exhibition halls, and a multi-purpose pavilion, while one new tank was built to be used as an information center. Seoul Silver Grass Festival takes place at Haneul Park. Haneul Park is one of five parks that make up World Cup Park, together with Peace Park, Nanjicheon Park, Nanji Hangang Park, and Noeul Park. It was established for the purpose of restoring the ecological environment so operates its facilities by using natural energy. It features a silver grass field, mixed grassland, rock garden, sunflower field, observatory rest area, and wind power generator. Among the various parts of the World Cup Park, it is located the closest to the sky and shows the transformation from a barren landfill restored to nature. In fall, silver grass forms a spectacle, and, here, visitors can get a clear, panoramic view of Seoul including Bukhansan Mountain and the Hangang River. It is also known as a place for beautiful sunsets and nightscapes.
