Alternative Space Loop (also known as the “Loop”) is one of few alternative space in Korea, opened in February, 1999. It is a non-profit gallery that provides exhibition space and support programs for young and promising artists, and is currently being supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service. Since opening, many exhibitions and performances are held every year, and the space has also engaged in diverse international exchanges such as Tirana Biennale and was invited to the Gwangju Biennale as an alternative art space in 2002.

Dorocy means "Gift of God" in Greek. It specializes in jewelry and offers outstanding repair and management services. It is a popular shop among women because of its colorful items. Various items range from inexpensive to expensive prices. Professional assistants give visitors tips on how to choose items matching up well with their clothing. From Eungbongsan Mountain, one can easily see the Hangang River, Seoul Forest, Jamsil Sports Complex and more in the eastern part of Seoul. With such a great view of the Hangang River, the mountain is often packed with visitors including many photographers. The mountain serves as a venue for diverse events, including a sunrise festival on New Year's Day and forsythia festival around April during the flowering season.

Jeongneung Royal Tomb is the tomb of Queen Sindeok, the second wife of King Taejo (1392-1398), founder of the Joseon dynasty (1392-1910). The queen met a sudden death due to health complications. Although one of her sons was the crown prince, he was killed by a successive brother, Yi Bang-won, in order to obtain the throne. After Yi Bang-won rose to the throne as King Taejong, he relocated Queen Sindeok's tomb to outside of the city walls.
